Payouts / reset
Detailed description:
Server Reset with Gold Payouts:
Pika should reset the 1.20 Factions server with payouts exclusively in gold, which can be used across all game modes.
Introduction of Blueprints:
Blueprints should be added as a feature, with the blueprint block being something like a beacon or sponge.
Enemies can destroy/stop the blueprint from printing using a creeper.
Disable TNT Spread:
Turn off TNTSpread to prevent TNT moving at all
Rule Update on 1-Stacker Speed:
Update the rules to require all cannons, including 1-stackers, to have a minimum shot speed of 3 seconds per shot.
Switching the Jar from Tequila to Sakura:
Change the server jar from Tequila to Sakura for better cannon mechanics.
Reason(s):
Pika isn't resetting 1.20 Factions because the player count was only 20-30. and it was expected since it's a new game mode that many players are still really confused. Without a reset, the player count won't be growing anytime soon, as people will lose interest. so I suggest adding payout in gold after 3-5 seasons would encourage players to learn the game, which would likely increase the player base
Add Blueprints as a feature since there aren't any mods available to print schematics. Blueprints would automatically build cannons, with construction times ranging from 1 to 30 minutes depending on the cannon's size and type
For the TNTSpread, the TNT should behave like it does in 1.8, where it stays completely in one block when activated. If the TNT moves even a single pixel, it can cause the entire cannon to blow up. Applying the same mechanics to 1.20 would prevent this issue
The reason the 1-stacker should have a minimum speed of 3 seconds is to prevent abuse. If the speed is set lower, like 0.7 seconds, players could exploit this by shooting a 1-stacker at Y 250, causing an instant breach.
The Tequila jar isn't ideal for 1.20 because it lacks important features like Height Parity, which is really needed for cannon performance. Without Height Parity, the range and X/Z adjustments of cannons are severely limited, reducing their effectiveness. The Sakura jar, on the other hand, includes Height Parity, allowing for better range and precision. It also supports updated cannons, like 300+ stackers, making it the best option
