It is that time again, time for a new OpPrison reset! We are excited to announce that the new OpPrison reset is right around the corner filled with features to further enhance your experience at our OpPrison server.
It is almost time for the most wonderful time of the year, Christmas! So OpPrison will be going full on Christmas mode with this reset. Not only that, we will also be giving you some amazing new features and balance changes.

End of the worldWe will be hosting an end-of-season event to celebrate the end of the season. At around 3 days before the release, we will be placing reset signs at spawn which you can click and claim a number of rewards; Free items, Free gkits, Millions of in-game money, Tons of free experience to level up your overpowered armor. Everyone will be able to finish their rank-ups because you can get everything for free. You can fight with everyone without the fear of losing your gear you have weeks to gather. So clearly this is the event everyone should participate in! Hop on OpPrison and have fun!
Changelog
The most important features/modifications implemented towards this season's map and functions are the following.
New! Spawn
What is a better way to get into the winter season than with a brand-new spawn? Get all cozy in our spawn with these December colds outside.
A new spawn with a winter theme.
Capture the outpost for some extra gifts.
Are you looking for some help? There are plenty of NPCs explaining all the features.
The PVP arena is filled with supply drops that you can capture.
A new seasonal crate has been added again.
New! Gang Top RewardsGather up, recruit only the best Prison players out there and start the grind for another season of Prison.
This new season of prison we will have biweekly rewards for the top gangs!
This will go on until the end of the season which will last exactly 6 weeks or 42 days. View all the dates in the /payouts menu.
End of the season rewards
First place: €300 worth of Iron currency.
Second place: €250 worth of Iron currency.
Third place: €150 worth of Iron currency.
Bi-weekly rewards
First place: €75 worth of Iron currency. Second place: €50 worth of Iron currency. Third place: €25 worth of Iron currency.
New! Gang EventsOpPrison is all about mining, but a little bit of competition would be good for OpPrison, which is why we introduced the event system, however, we have come up with an even better improvement for this events system, the Gang Events.
The Gang Events will be a replacement for the current event system we have had in place. We feel like making the events playable as a gang, rather than solo adds much more variety, and gives us the ability to give out better rewards and reward the top gangs that play a lot to win.
These vary greatly, and can range from mining ores to killing mobs, and so on. Your goal as a team is to execute these tasks to perfection. You'll be directly battling other gangs to earn Event Points. Event Points are a currency earned by completing tas quickly, with the team finishing first and gaining substantially more points than the team finishing eighth, for example. Once the task has been randomly assigned every team will start grinding. Every gang has the same task so it's important you get going as fast as you can!
The more Team Points your Team has the more points you will obtain for the /gang top.
These Gang Events take place every 3 hours of every day, so even if you miss one, you'll have plenty of chances for more glory!
New! Player Shops
We finally took the time to properly implement an easy-to-use shopping system for you and all the players. There is only one essential thing missing to make your cell open to the public, a good player shop system! That is why for this season we will be introducing a brand new player shop system that you can use with ease.
Create your shopStart off by placing down a chest with a sign saying [shop]. Once the sign has been placed down the chest will turn into a player shop. Once the chest has been turned into a shop it is time to get started. Start out by clicking the newly created shop sign. Now your shop menu will open up. Within this menu, you can do 4 different things, those things are:
Set your shop item - With this, you can select an item from your inventory that the shop should sell, this can be any item in the game, as long as your shop has enough stock for it you will be able to sell it!
View shop logs -Here you can view everyone that has used your shop in a small simple overview, this way you can check how your little market did while you were offline.
Select your price - Looking to buy, sell, or both? Configure your shop with a fair price and you will be able to buy items from players, sell them items to you, or even both. This will also work while you are offline.
Remove your shop - Want to move your shop somewhere else? No worries. With just a click you can remove your player shop from your island.
Advertise your shopsA new unique way to make yourself known with your player shops is by advertising them. You will need Advertisement Gems in order to be able to advertise your shop, and each shop can be advertised individually as well. Once the timer runs out your shop is no longer advertised, however, players will always be able to use your shop, even when it is not being advertised.
Browse all advertised shopsWith everyone being able to create a shop we decided to make a big overview, the /playershops menu will show all the current player shops, organized by item and category. However in order to have your shop shown here you will need to have it advertised.
New! Pickaxe Enchantments
It has been a while since we added some new pickaxe enchantments, so for this December season, we thought it is time to add some more!
Three new pickaxe enchantments will be added this season, and those enchantments are:
Purity - Every 5 minutes of active mining will temporarily increase your sell multiplier depending on the level.
Max 2,500 levels.
Treasure Hunter - A chance to get more items from your treasures.
Max 2,500 levels.
Charity - Gift every online player a few tokens while breaking blocks.
Max 2,500 levels.
New! Gem Enchantments
Next to the pickaxe enchantments, we will also be adding 4 new Gem Enchantments that you can apply to your swords and armor.
Those 4new gem enchantments are:
Runner (Boots) - Has a chance of giving you a major speed boost when you get hit by a player
Souvenir Enchant (sword & armor) - Chance to get the item back after dying.
Charity - Gift every online player a few tokens while breaking blocks.
Token Greeds Enchant (Sword) - Small chance to get tokens from killing Diamond Dunes mobs
New! Cosmetics
We added some cosmetics that you can purchase in-game as well, to spice it up even more.
The following cosmetics have been added waiting for you to be unlocked because let's are honest, nothing is better than being the best survival player, but with some extra flare!

As you can see this is quite the list of available cosmetics, so we can assure you there are plenty of things to unlock this new Opprison season.
New! December Specials
For this season we will be making some changes to our existing features in order to make PikaNetwork feel like a cozy Christmas place. We will be adding small things to make you get into the Christmas spirit with us. These features will be removed once the December Season has passed, so make sure you take advantage of these!
Gift Supplies - The PvP zone will now be filled with gifts every hour, these gifts contain better rewards than the usual Supply Drops.
Diamond Dunes - Little Elfs will spawn, which you can kill in order to receive Gift Ores, these ores can be traded with Santa Claus for some overpowered new items.
Christmas Minesuit - Get into a new limited-time mine suit to get that Christmas outfit ready!
Christmas Tags - Brand new seasonal Christmas tags are only available this holiday. Snowman Pet - Gain a huge boost on all currencies with this little snowman as your buddy.
New! Advent CalendarTo get into the Christmas spirit we will be giving away a free reward every single day!
How do you get those rewards? Simple! All you have to do is log in every day during the December month, look for the Advent Calendar NPC within the spawn, and claim your daily gift, how awesome is that?

New! Pet Skins
Ever wanted to give your pet a fresh new look? With these new pet skins, you can. Pet skins can be obtained in-game, or from the store and gold shop.
Each season new skins will be added and the previous skins will become unavailable.
This means these pet skins will gain value over time, as you can no longer obtain them. You can always take off a Pet Skin and trade it with others when you want to, which makes these skins an essential part of becoming the #1 trader at OpPrison, with your pets having a fresh look
Updated! MasksThe masks are a great addition to OpPrison, but they required some balancing, which is why we will be making the masks into the following:

Updated! Gang PerksThe Gang Perks have been around for quite some time, so we decided to finally give them an economy revamp and minor changes for when you can unlock these perks.
On top of that, we will be adding effects to these gang perks as well.

Fixed! Bugs
We did our best to polish and fix as many existing bugs inside the OpPrison server. We have looked through all the bug reports and managed to fix them. If you come across any bugs with the new release, make sure to report them at our forums under the bug reports section.
Here are a few of the bugs we squished out:
- Fixed being able to skip pickaxe prestiges.
- Fixed godfather not being able to use pickaxe colors.
- Fixed jackhammer not adding beacons to you balance.
- Fixed charmed enchantment
- Fixed treasure chest counter.
- Fixed kill tracker not being added to swords.
- Fixed blackscrolls not being able to be added on minesuits.
- Fixed auction house selling items for tokens
- Fixed monkey beacon growler ability.
- Fixed drug pet cartel compactor ability.
- Fixed hedgehog pet not having boost messages and not giving gems.
- Fixed minesuits not being able to be upgraded past level 5.
- Fixed ores found counting all ores not just from that minesuit.
- Fixed masks deleting minesuit helmets.
- Fixed jadim slimet mask not boosting money.
- Fixed planum slimet mask not increasing tokens.
- Fixed inmates not being able to be accessed.
- Fixed inmates having bugged ores after a reboot.

Misc. Updates & Changes
Multiple small changes have been made, some of these small changes are the following:
- Updated Anticheat.
- Updated payouts menu.
- Added the active boosters on the tab lists.
- Made pets invisible in PVP.
- Updated crate keys rewards.
- Added a godfather cell.
- Added autominer slots in the gold shop.

Question and Answers
Why did OpPrison reset?
OpPrison is already up for some time. A reset has to happen to change and improve with lots of excellent new features, to make the game more exciting for you all! This then allows you, the players, to have a fresh start and new players can begin to play without any significant disadvantage.
This means all cells, items, money and the map will be reset. Nothing will be kept leftover from the previous map. I know this must be a disappointing revelation for a lot of you, but think about the exciting new changes, the new alliances you can forge, the new map, the new features and updates the different kinds of gameplay, and style is provided with this update will surely make it a worth-while and exciting reset!
