OP Lifesteal is honestly a really fun gamemode and one of the most exciting modes on Pika right now. The concept of gaining and losing hearts through PvP makes fights much more intense and meaningful compared to normal survival. Every fight actually matters, which keeps players active instead of just grinding. The fast progression, strong gear, and competitive environment make the start of the season very enjoyable, and overall the gamemode does a great job at keeping players engaged.

That being said, while it’s already good, I think it still needs some improvements to make it more balanced and enjoyable long term.


🔧 Suggestions & Improvements

1. Money‑Steal Enchant Is Too Strong

There is an enchantment where when you hit a player, you can take a very large amount of their money, sometimes almost everything they have. For example, a player with 5 million money could lose most of it very quickly in a fight. This feels too punishing since players are already risking hearts.

➡️ Suggestion: Add a cap (5–10% per hit or per fight) or add a cooldown.


2. Spawners Are Too Easy to Get

Killing one boss can give around 500 shards, and spawners are cheap compared to that. Players can get stacked very early in the season.

➡️ Suggestion: Reduce shard drops or increase spawner prices so progression lasts longer.


3. Leveling Is Too Fast / Abusable

Players can abuse leveling tasks like mining with Silk Touch, repeatedly farming the same ore to level up extremely fast. Some players reached max level in just one day.

➡️ Suggestion: Only count naturally generated ores or prevent repeated farming.


4. Alt Farming Exploit

Some players use alt accounts to farm kills, quests, or hearts by repeatedly killing the same account.

➡️ Suggestion: No rewards if the same player is killed multiple times in a row, or add a cooldown.


5. Gap Between New and Stacked Players

Players with high hearts (30–40+) and strong gear are very hard for newer players to fight, creating a big imbalance and making new players quit early.

➡️ Suggestion: Add a soft cap or scaling system to reduce extreme advantages.


6. Cheating Issues (Killaura / Auto‑Farm)

Some players use killaura to farm mobs or auto‑fishing for quests, giving them unfair progress without real effort.

➡️ Suggestion: Improve anti‑cheat detection or add systems to stop automated farming.


7. Add More Bosses (Content Expansion)

Bosses are a good feature, but fighting the same ones becomes repetitive over time.

➡️ Suggestion: Add new bosses with unique abilities, like high‑damage bosses, tank bosses with abilities, or event bosses with better rewards.


8. Team Dominance Issue

Large teams can dominate areas and fights easily, making it hard for solo or small group players.

➡️ Suggestion: Add small buffs or incentives for solo players or slightly reduce team advantages.


9. More Useful Commands (QoL)

Adding extra commands would improve gameplay and awareness:


/hearts → shows current hearts and changes

/lastdeath → shows last death info

/cooldowns → shows active cooldowns

➡️ Helps players stay organized and improves experience.



10. Flip Chat Spam (Coin/XP/Shard/Heart Flips)

Coinflips, XP flips, shard flips, and heart flips can spam chat and make it hard to see normal messages.

➡️ Suggestion:


Add a separate flip chat, OR

Add a toggle in ./settings to disable flip messages, OR

Limit/group flip messages


This feedback is useful because it is based on real gameplay experience and focuses on actual problems players face. It clearly identifies specific issues like overpowered enchants, fast progression, exploit abuse (alts and Silk Touch), and cheating.

Instead of just pointing out problems, it also gives practical and realistic solutions, which makes it helpful for developers to understand what needs improvement and how to fix it.

Reason(s):
These ideas should be implemented because they address situations players deal with constantly while playing. Things like losing millions of coins in a few seconds, reaching max level in one day, or facing players with 3–4× more hearts create a noticeable imbalance in gameplay.
It also affects how players experience progression. When some people gain huge advantages very quickly through certain methods, while others play normally and fall behind, the overall experience becomes uneven. That gap shows up in PvP, bosses, and general activity on the server.
There’s also a big difference in experience between solo players and larger teams. When groups of 5+ players can fully control areas like bosses, it changes how accessible content feels for the rest of the server.
On top of that, things like chat spam from flips and lack of useful commands make the game feel less organized and harder to follow during active play.
Overall, these ideas would make the gamemode feel more consistent, competitive, and enjoyable across different types of players, whether someone is new, solo, or already stacked.​

Example(s):
  • A player with 5M coins can get hit during a fight and lose 2M–4M coins in just a few hits, which is way too punishing since hearts are already on the line.
  • Some players place diamond ore with Silk Touch, mine it, place it again, and repeat — reaching max level in under 24 hours instead of progressing normally.
  • A player logs onto 2 alt accounts and kills them repeatedly, farming hearts and quest progress without doing real PvP.
  • A team of 5–8 players camps a boss and kills everyone who comes near, so solo players can’t even try the boss.
  • A new player with 10 hearts and basic gear fights someone with 30–40 hearts and max gear, and the fight ends almost instantly because of the huge difference.
  • Chat can have 10+ flip messages in less than a minute (coinflip, shard flip, XP flip), making normal messages hard to see.

BRO, I completely agree with ts, bro it says everything I need in opls. I was playing skypvp before but it got boring so from the new season i've been playing opls, but i need this changes. yo W bro keep it up

i dont play the mode but this seems like a good idea, grinding to max level in like 1-2 days (as an example) is pretty unfair

(Also, no one grinded to level 200 within a day, that's not possible. It took a little less than two weeks, which is, although fast, still a lot longer compared to the 1 day that you stated.)

1. Money steal enchant being too strong
It only applies when you kill a player, perfectly balanced since you steal 5% of their balance on the kill. See /ce for more info

2. Spawners being to easy to get
Spawners are not cheap compared to that, it would take 3 bosses for 1 villager spawner.

3. Levels being too fast / abusable
The whole point is for them to be "abusable" mining over 1000 of an ore is virtually impossible without xray. There's simple tricks you can use that make your life easier when it comes to levels although they are still difficult. They're at a perfect balancec right now. And like shadowed said, took 2 weeks, not 1 day.

4. Alt farming exploit
This already is a thing.

5. Gap between new and stacked players.
This suggestion is buns, why add a soft cap on somebody when they've grinded for 40 hearts, just to give somebody who hasn't grinded a chance?

6. Cheating issues
Cheating is a global issue, there is no simple fix for it apart from a lack of staff on the gamemode

7. Add more bosses
Mid, would be nice for new bosses but current ones are iconic

8. Team dominance issue
Yes, big teams usually do dominate. Because it's a big team. Having buffs for solo players would just make the big teams go into solo teams but still all help eachother? Doesn't help anything

9. More useful commands
/hearts > you can see your current hearts on tab and scoreboard
/lastdeath > What information could it show? The coordinates in which you died? That'd ruin it
/cooldowns > What cooldowns? The only cooldowns their is are things like repelation which is only 2 mintues

10. Flips spamming chat
Either you haven't played the gamemode at all, or you played it for 5 minutes to see what you can suggest. It's already implemented https://prnt.sc/LhwVyvIRBpAe



Overall everything is already implemented, and everything else is useless. One good thing is the change to bosses, but you didn't describe it much so.

75% of the things U stated already exists just go back to Ur own gamemode and farm suggestions there don't come to other modes and try to farm suggestions

First, I dont think most of them are in oplifesteal rn. second, i wasnt meaning like max lvl 200, like i saw in 1 day, they got to lvl 50 which should be impossible. also by 1 day, i mean less that 5hrs, having no resources, no1 has anything on ah for sale and everything is from 0.

Level 1 to 50 are super easy if U actually played the gamemode maybe don't say something is impossible if U have never done it
