New Player Question: Where to Start?

Hi everyone, I just joined Pika Network today and this is my first time playing on this server. I’ve played Minecraft before, but not on a big multiplayer network like this, so I’m still trying to figure out how everything works here.

There are a lot of game modes and features, and I’m not sure which one is best to start with as a new player. I don’t want to jump into something too complicated and get lost right away. Which mode would you recommend for learning the basics of Pika and getting comfortable with the server?

Also, are there any beginner mistakes I should avoid or commands I should learn early on? Any advice from experienced players would be really helpful. Thanks!

Welcome to Pika Network! As a new player, I would recommend you to start with Survival or Skyblock, as these modes is simpler and more familiar to vanilla gameplay experience to help you get comfortable with the server. If you are a PvP player, you may also try out Bedwars or Practice also! Please also make sure to review and follow our rules to avoid any accidental violations while you play!​

To add on to what EAO_2_O_8_ said, with whatever game mode you choose to play, there will be a guide on the forums that is specifically meant for new players trying to learn a specific game mode.
