New bedwars map: Republic (by me)​

Detailed description:
Republic is a custom solos/doubles bedwars map by me on the more fast paced side. When the next map change comes to bedwars, I suggest this map should be included in it.

The map is classical greece themed and originally was called Olymp because of the mountains at mid, but for avoiding confusion with Olympus, I changed it.

The first rush is very clear (diagonal) and a comfortable 8-rush or a barely possible 4-rush. The side rush takes ~40 blocks and going to mid from the diamond gen takes ~20. There is moderate height variation throughout the map and some structures at mid.

Every cave that sits inside its corresponding mountain at mid connects to the cave of the mountain on the opposite side, but NOT to the neighbors. Meaning, it is easy to collect two emerald gens (one gen in each mountain) but not easy to collect all four, thus incentivising players to buy pots and eggs over armour or obsidian.​

Gameplay:

I think my map would be very fun because most maps exclusive to pika network are on the larger/bridgier side, making this map add variety for the different tastes of players. Since people are incentivised to buy potions and eggs, they will also be more likely to break beds in time, but because there is some gap between mid and diamonds, it is also a challenge and worth defending the bed. By putting a long and low island between the side rush, I made it accessible to go from base to base without encouraging side rushes at the start of the game (since you want height advantage to rush), which I also think many players would like.



QOL:

For players without fullbright, I made sure the inside of the mountains as well as the bases are properly lit.

Players also tend to experience phases of block placement delays, during which diagonal bridging causes unavoidable void deaths, so I deliberately looked for the map to have straight briding paths.

Players that for whatever reason want to play on modern versions get stuck on carpets, walls and some other non full blocks when going to them from the wrong angle. I made sure that this doesn't happen anywhere on my map.​

The map looks great overall some touch ups might it make it better. I think the development team will contact you if this gets accepted or you'll probably have to send them via discord.
