Suggestion:
More Games In PRACTICE

Detailed description:
I've noticed that most games in practice are heavily focused on PvP or combat, with only a few exceptions such as Parkour, Spleef, or Sumo. To enhance the gaming experience, I suggest adding a wider variety of unique and engaging mini-games. Here are some ideas:

  • Lucky Block Games: Players could compete in games involving randomized items or events, adding an element of unpredictability and strategy.
  • Ice Boat Races: A fast-paced and skillful game where players navigate challenging icy tracks using boats, making for thrilling races.
  • Hide-and-Seek: A classic and fun game where players either hide or seek in creative and well-designed maps, providing a break from combat-focused games.
  • Mini-Game Race: A large-scale competition with around 20 players advancing through multiple rounds of diverse mini-games, such as:
    • Sand Floor: Players must avoid falling as blocks disappear beneath them.
    • King of the Hill: A battle to control the top of a hill.
    • And more, with points awarded after each round to determine the overall winner.
  • Archery Challenges: A game focused on precision and aiming skills, like shooting targets or timed challenges.
  • Build Battles: A creative game where players are given a theme and a limited time to build something impressive, with winners decided by votes or judges.
Adding such games would not only diversify the server's offerings but also attract a broader range of players who may prefer creative or skill-based games over combat.

Reason(s):

Reason(s):

  1. Adding more diverse games will attract a broader audience to the server, including players who prefer non-combat activities.
  2. A variety of mini-games keeps the server fresh and engaging, encouraging players to stay longer and return more often.
  3. These games provide a much-needed break from regular combat-based games after extended play, helping to prevent burnout and keep the experience enjoyable.
  4. They promote creativity, teamwork, and skill, appealing to both casual players and competitive ones.
  5. Unique additions like Lucky Block challenges or mini-game races can help the server stand out from competitors, increasing its popularity.

Example(s):

Example(s):

  1. Lucky Block Games:
    Players break blocks that grant random rewards or penalties, such as overpowered weapons, armor, or funny effects like explosions or spawning mobs. This unpredictability makes every game unique and exciting, providing both humor and challenge, similar to the Lucky Block modes on other popular servers.
  2. Ice Boat Races:
    Players race on slippery ice tracks using boats, navigating sharp turns, ramps, and obstacles. These races could include different levels of difficulty or unique map designs, such as frozen rivers, icy caves, or glacier-themed tracks, testing players' reflexes and steering skills.
  3. Mini-Game Race:
    A large-scale event where around 20 players compete in a series of mini-games to accumulate points and reach the top of the leaderboard.
    • Sand Floor: Players avoid falling into the void as the floor disappears block by block.
    • King of the Hill: A battle where players try to stay on top of a hill while others push them off using knockback weapons.
    • Target Practice: Players hit moving targets with a bow to score points, rewarding precision and timing.
    • The mini-game race could conclude with a high-stakes final round, like a fast-paced obstacle course or a survival challenge.
  4. Hide-and-Seek:
    Players either hide in creative, well-designed maps with disguises or hunt for others. For example, a “city” map might allow hiders to transform into objects like barrels or plants, while seekers must carefully identify and tag them.
  5. Build Battles:
    Players are given a theme (e.g., castle, spaceship, or fantasy creature) and a limited time to build something amazing. Builds are judged either by players or the system, and points are awarded for creativity, design, and adherence to the theme.
  6. Archery Challenges:
    A game where players shoot at moving targets, complete timed challenges, or participate in archery duels. This could include unique elements like hitting specific weak spots on mobs or shooting arrows through small gaps to hit distant targets.
This version provides more vivid descriptions and examples to better illustrate each game idea. Let me know what you think! 😊

Uhuh, so that it'll be a complete copy of other servers?

"Adding more games to Pika Network isn't about copying other servers; it's about offering variety and improving the overall experience for players. A broader selection of games attracts a wider audience and keeps players engaged. It also gives them the chance to explore different modes without leaving the server, which benefits both the players and the server community. It's not about imitation—it's about innovation and growth of the server."

The server is already laggy enough, so adding more games would only make things worse. Honestly, I highly doubt this suggestion would get enough votes, especially since so many players have been complaining about the current issues. Why add more games when the focus should be on fixing the problems with the existing ones? It seems like addressing the current issues should be the priority before expanding the server further.

I suggested Ice boat races already, but also here the problem: On 1.8.9, the version of practice, boats do not slide on ice...

-1. However I would like if this gets added but,
1, The server doesn't have that much players that these gamemodes will have enough players to start games in all times.
2, I don't like the idea of adding games like "Lucky Blocks", "Build Battle", "Hide and Seek" inside Practice, as they can themselves be a separate gamemode.
3, I don't think this will even get implemented.
