Mobs on islands

Now...before the previous reset im sure that mobs didnt spawn on my island unless there were spawners obviously, but after the reset things have changed. Creepers, Zombies, Skeletons, Endermen all different kinds of mobs are spawning on my island i relly dont prefer this cuz when ur building something high and then a skeleton just bows u off then u have to build up/fly back to where u were and im sure u know what i mean..
If this can be fixed can any of the admins pleassseee have this ficed as soon as possible

This is not a bug, its implemented on purpose. It's how it is in Classic Skyblock too. Just put lights around your island so mobs wont spawn.

it makes the game more interesting that way aswell when mobs can attack you while building, it can be annoying at times indeed but place more light around as said above and all will be good
I was surprised by creepers a few times and made me jump lol, a few times, afterwards its fun too
