From what I made up from the EULA is that selling anything for real money that gives you an advantage above another player would be against it.

Still against EULA, Source from: https://mojang.com/2014/06/lets-talk-server-monetisation-the-follow-up-qa/
What do you mean by “hard currency” compared to “soft currency”?
Hard currency is real money or anything that can be converted into real money, including Bitcoins. Soft currency is available in-game only, and has no real-world value. The restrictions in the EULA only apply to hard currency; you may unlock things in-game with soft currency.

Can I sell boosters, which provide faster gold gain, XP, or other in-game resources for hard currency?
No - boosters, item generators, and all other features that affect gameplay are not allowed.

Lock?

(REMOVED)
This is an awesome idea. We should do this.

Thats actually god tier clever, if servers can pull it off it would be in fully compliance and still pay2win and Mojang would have to let it fly or make a change to the EULA.

To who ever is wondering what this idea is, the link he "removed" leads to somthing like this:

"...Here's the tricky part: we want everyone to have a similar experience together, both donors and non-donors alike. Using a custom-written software, we will sync all chat messages, block interactions, player movements, and literally every action you can possibly do in Minecraft. A computer will push those changes to each server instantaneously, so it's like you're playing with everybody even though they're on separate physical servers. Mojang's EULA does not forbid this, and they define a separate server as: "A server is something a user connects to with their client. The user is on a different server when they leave one and manually join another (in the multiplayer screen). Virtual servers and proxies make no difference; to the client it's the same server." Because you are on physical separate servers and have to change IPs if you want to play on another server, we are 100% compliant here.

The donor servers will provide all the features of that rank, included with the server access. The people on that physical server have the same features as you do. However, all servers share the exact same world and data, so if another player builds a house on the regular server, it will show up on the VIP server as well (even though that player isn't on the VIP server).

Because the donor servers have the features included of that rank by default, you could log into the regular normal server as a donor and your experience would be the same as the people on that server. If you wanted to use your donor features, you'd have to switch IPs and log on to the IP you were assigned upon purchasing your rank..."
