In-Game Forums Integration​

Detailed description:

With the new update to the Forums giving Donator roles to players with a linked Discord account, there has been an increase in the number of players going in and linking all their accounts. I would like to suggest some integration between the in-game server and the forums. ​

There would be a couple of new additions to the server:​

• A new command /ForumProfile (IGN)
  • This command would display information on a player's forums account as long as they have their accounts linked.
• Forums notifications in-game
  • You would be able to receive notifications for all alerts you receive on the Forums. (The grey text would be clickable links to the forum referenced in the notifications)
• A new section in /settingswhich would lead to Forums Integration Settings (This could be a Book and Quill as an example)
  • There would be a Diamond; clicking this would open a link to the forums and help you with linking your in-game account with the Discord/Forums.
  • There would be a Book; clicking this would turn off your In-Game Forums API settings. (Wouldn't allow people to do /ForumProfile (IGN) on you)
  • There would be a Redstone Torch; clicking this would toggle between having In-Game Forums Notifications enabled or disabled.

All new features would be optional and toggleable through /settings.​

Reason(s):

This would make it much easier for players who are active both in-game and on the forums to stay engaged with both platforms at the same time. Without this, active members of both communities would have to constantly switch between the game and the Forums website. With this, players will be able to receive any alerts while they're in-game, allowing them to be more active participants across both the server and the Forums.​

Adding this integration would also be likely to increase activity on the Forums, since players will be able to check discussions, replies, or any other notifications while they are already online playing on the server. This addition would also help to make the server feel more connected, instead of the forums and the game feeling like two completely different communities. ​

This could also help out staff members and other active members of the community to be able to stay up-to-date with any new reports, replies, or other discussions without needing to leave their game, as they would receive instant alerts without needing to switch windows.​

This is one of the best suggestions I've ever seen. It will surely help to save time and also make it easier to get notifications because anyone spends more time in-game than the forums page so yeah.
