Suggestion:
Improve Bow Utility in SkyMine

Detailed description:

1. Enable Bow Usage Against Mobs & Bosses

Currently, bows are mainly useful for PvP, but have little to no value in PvE (especially in dungeons and The End).
Suggestion:
  • Allow bows to deal effective damage to mobs and bosses
  • Make bows a viable alternative to melee weapons in PvE
  • Improve gameplay variety and ranged combat strategies

2. Rework Bow Skin Abilities

Some current bow skin perks feel irrelevant to actual gameplay.

Example Issue:
  • “+12% damage to players in water” → rarely useful since water combat is uncommon in SkyMine

Suggested Replacements:
  • +30% damage to bosses
  • +45% damage to mobs
  • +1 extra loot drops (flat increase, not multiplier)
  • Optional: introduce multiplicative bonuses for special/seasonal skins

3. Add Unique Bow Abilities


To make bows more exciting and worth investing in:

New Ability Ideas:
  • Explosion Arrows (AoE damage for dungeon clearing)
  • Piercing Shots (hit multiple enemies in a line)
  • Boss Slayer Effect (bonus damage scaling on bosses)
  • Lifesteal Arrows (small healing on hit)


Reason(s):
  • Bows are currently underpowered and underused in PvE
  • Existing bow abilities are often irrelevant or situational
  • Improving bows would make dungeons and boss fights more strategic and engaging

Example Issue:
  • +30% damage to bosses
  • +45% damage to mobs

  • Optional: multiplicative bonuses for seasonal/special bow skins
