Implementation of a "Minigame Streak"
Detailed description:
I propose the implementation of a "Minigame Streak Multiplier" system within the Dungeons gamemode. Currently, players encounter random active minigames (such as Dodge, Simon Says, and Anvil Rain) while farming mobs.
Under this new system, successfully completing consecutive minigames without failing or using the sneak feature to skip them would build a temporary "Streak Multiplier" (capping at a maximum of 5x). This streak would grant a scaled, incremental increase to the drop rates of dungeon keys, custom shards, or mob coins from active grinding. The multiplier would immediately reset to zero if a player fails a minigame, leaves the dungeon zone, or logs out of the serve
Tbh the overall idea is mine but the writing format is taken from gemini
Reason(s):
1. Directly rewards active, manual grinding over automated macro-users.
2. Stops players from skipping minigames by turning them into high-priority goals.
3. Reduces gameplay burnout during long grinding sessions.
4. Risk-of-reset mechanic prevents item inflation and protects the server economy.
Example(s):
1- Base Level (No Streak): 1.0x baseline drop rate for mob coins and keys.
2- Streak Level 1 (Completed 1 minigame): 1.1x drop rate multiplier.
3- Streak Level 3 (Completed 3 minigames in a row): 1.3x drop rate multiplier.
4- Streak Level 5 (Max Streak): 1.5x drop rate multiplier.
5- Failure Condition: If a player is at Streak Level 5 but gets hit by an anvil during the next minigame, their streak instantly drops to 0, resetting them back to the 1.0x baseline drop rate.
