How to get better performance in Minecraft 1.8.9 ?

hello everyone, this is Drunkrobot here

and today I will explain to you the best ways to get better performance for Minecraft 1.8.9

OPTIFINE -

its no shock that optifine is in this list as, optfine has very good performance in Minecraft, its even essential to use it.

there is many reasons on using optifine, first is the performance, second is the ability to use shaders ( SHADERS IMPACT PERFORMANCE ), thirdly the ability to use zoom and dynamic lights

BETTER FPS -

Better fps even improves fps

example ( this is in the mods page ) :

Improvements

All improvements can be enable or disabled in the config file (config/betterfps.json) or in the options menu (Options -> BetterFps Options) (For older versions, press F12 while in game).

Memory Preallocation

Removes a RAM preallocation of 10MB. This allocation was added to prevent players from starting the game with low memory, but this allocation is kept until its almost the memory reaching its limit. This was made just for players using modpacks, where memory might be a problem. If you have enough memory, this is pretty much useless for you.

Compatibility

  • Optifine: Overwrites Fast Math when the algorithm is not set to "Vanilla"

Foam Fix -

Foam Fix is very good for modpacks that use more mods
here is an example in the mods page -

  • Memory usage (in Minecraft 1.8+). This is the original reason FoamFix was made for, and the most important reason for it being adopted in modpacks today. Observations show that, on particularly heavy modpacks, Java heap usage (as measured on the main menu, after the game has finished loading, with VisualVM) can fall by as much as
    50%!

  • TPS usage, particularly on larger servers - ghost chunk-loading and network improvements will not help the single-player experience much, but can be incredibly beneficial when trying to scale up a multiplayer world.

Changing settings -

there is many settings you need to change in Minecraft, change optifine and better fps to get good performance

Try using less programs -

this even helps with Minecraft's performance ( and many other games ! )
using many programs like google chrome or other web browser can affect your ram and will make your game unplayable
try using one or two programs if you have less the 4 gb of ram ( if you have like 8-16 gb of ram this does not matter )

Clients -

Clients can even improve fps in many ways ( some clients like badlion are not really recommended for performance, more of the mod side of this client is more popular )

This is it -

well this is it folks, hope you found mods in this list helpful and that will make your 1.8.9 pvp experience better
well

CYA !!!

woaah this is very good, I would recommend changing settings ie, lowering render distance, turning off effects and animations. a good mod to use is BatMod, it uses low RAM, boosts FPS and is a good free mod that's available to cracked users aswell
