Hit registration
Detailed description:
Hello Pika Network Team,
I would like to suggest an important improvement regarding the current hit registration and damage tick system on the network, especially noticeable in PvP modes such as BedWars and Ranked BedWars. Currently, the damage tick on Pika Network is significantly faster than on most other major Minecraft PvP servers. This causes a major imbalance in 1v1 combat situations by making high‑CPS hit stacking extremely punishing. Instead of receiving damage in a paced, manageable sequence, hits often register all at once, resulting in players taking a burst of damage instantly and dying before they can respond. Adjust the damage tick speed to match the standard interval used by most competitive Minecraft PvP servers. This would:
Improve combat consistency
Restore strategic depth
Allow players to use advanced PvP techniques effectively
Make fights feel fairer and more skill‑based

Make fights feel fairer and more skill‑based
Reason(s):
The accelerated damage tick prevents players from using advanced PvP techniques that are core to competitive combat, such as:
Mid trading
Hit selecting
Floor trading
Hit sequence manipulation
Sustained combo plays
These mechanics rely heavily on consistent hit registration and proper damage intervals. When hits stack unnaturally and deal damage too quickly, players cannot control trades, outplay opponents through timing, or execute combos that normally determine the outcome of competitive fights.
As a result, PvP becomes less skill‑based and more dependent on luck or raw CPS, reducing the strategic depth and player enjoyment.

Example(s):
In a normal competitive BedWars/RBW environment, a player can cleverly manipulate a trade by timing their hits, choosing to mid trade, or using hit selection to gain the upper hand. On Pika, however, the extremely fast damage tick causes players to lose all their health in the span of a single hit stack, eliminating the ability to recover or counter‑play during a trade. This leads to:
Faster‑than-normal deaths
Unrewarding combat sequences
Reduced effectiveness of high‑skill mechanics
