Global Unban​

Detailed description:

Suggesting global unban for every user ever banned on PikaNetwork. How would this work? This action would be done by Pika staff. Every banned player ever would get unbanned by this action. Exceptions should be people that has been banned for duping, doxing or if they are blacklisted. People affected by this should be all other ban reasons such as Cheating, Ban Evasion, Discrimination and more. People that are muted temporarily or permanently shouldn't be affected by this action.​

Reason(s):

1) Lower players counts than years back. I played Pika years back and to this day, it's clear that players have bene quitting for either getting banned or their friends getting banned. Pika used to peak at 4,000 or so players at a good day and for the past few weeks it has been barely hitting numbers like 3,000 at weekends, not to mention player counts on weekdays.

2) Old players coming back to play. Old players that have maybe been banned would come back to play again. This would mean more players for Pika in general.

3) Alt accounts banned for ban evasion would be available again for their owners to use.

4) Same idea has been executed on Jartex recently and got a lot of attention on the server.

5) Potential for old players. Maybe some hacker from 2020 is now better person and can only be a good thing for the server.​

Player <Cxrtex> being unbanned because of X-ray months back, now bought $50 worth of Pika gold to celebrate his permanent punishment being revoked by this action.​

If you think you friend are falsely banned, ask them to make a punishment appeal on the forum site.
If they are actually falsely Punished, they will be un-banned. Remember Pika don't give 2nd chances to rule breakers.

I am not sure that they will accept this because it's too much work for them to unban old players. Still, let's hope that they accept it.

It makes sense to give people what they want. This can be done shortly with 40 staff members so if you dont want some overtime work say it that way but this would NOT take a lot of time.

its harder here since pika is bigger with playercounts on avg than jartex and some people who got banned dont deserve to be unbanned (im talking about one specific bedwars player)

If, you are just a lazy person accept this aint taking long hours.
I am pretty much familiar with servers workings and devs can easily do whatever they like (from unregistering accounts to unbanning everyone in a click)
So, you just have lack of information so better get info first than say something.

do you know first of all how many players got banned and second of all what some of those did?

Without having to even think about it. If somebodies been banned for 3 years I'm sure they can appeal it due to how long it's been. Rather than unleashing the gates of hell

One of your examples was to unban everyone who used Xray, what is stopping them from joining again and continuing that behavior? If they wanted to change, they would've stopped xraying after the 1st ban. (The 1st ban isn't permanent which means if they really wanted to change, they wouldn't come back and xray a second time.)

Ok so according to ur opinion the people who are permanently banned shouldn't be unbanned cuz they had 1 chance? So what about the Players who got banned for falsifying evidence? what about the players who got banned for chargebacking? what about the players who got banned for ban evasion? what about the players who got banned for duping. Considering that other players may have gotten another chance but the above mentioned punishments are permanent on its first offense. Everyone should be given another chance to prove that they've changed and realised what they did wrong because not everyone is familiar with the punishments of the server.

This would thus take a lot of time for staff members, and we are not Jartex. We are also not looking for an approach like this.

It also doesn't make sense to unban them after they've broken rules. After all, appeals are meant for false punishments; not for second chances.

There’s a reason the mentioned rules are a permanent ban for first offense. Breaking those rules can heavily impact another player's gameplay or the server. (Also, most of the time you can sort out a chargeback with a staff member in a support ticket and dupes can sometimes be sorted out with developers.)
