Suggestion:
Evidence for appeals

Detailed description:
The suggestion is about ensuring that when a player’s ban appeal related to screenshares (SS) is denied by a staff member on Pika Network, the staff member (specifically, the SS manager) should provide proof to support their decision. The staff member responsible for handling the appeal must offer clear evidence or justification from the SS recorded from their SS verified's end, explaining why the appeal was denied.

Reason(s):
Implementing this suggestion would enhance fairness and transparency in the ban appeal process. By requiring SS managers to provide proof or detailed explanations for their decisions, it ensures that players understand why their appeals were denied, which can improve trust in the decision-making. it also helps players better comprehend any mistakes or issues with their appeal, leading to a more balanced and credible system.

Example(s):
This is how I feel it should be implemented:
Hello <person>,

After reviewing your situation, it has unfortunately been decided to deny your appeal due to the following reason(s):
<Reason>,( then send a link to videos or screenshot of proof) , Do not appeal again, have a good day <person>
With this being said, your only option left is to wait out the rest of your punishment if temporary.
If your punishment appeal was denied because you did not respond in time, you may appeal again.

For your reference, here is a link to our server rules → PikaNetwork Rules.
Please make sure to be aware of what is allowed and what is not.

Darling, if you need proof, then message the screenshare manager on discord. He willl give you a screenshot and a quick explanation. That's all you need, and it's already there. The whole recording? Nah, that's asking too much. But what they offer is enough to set things straight. It's simple, it's direct, and it's been working just fine. So why complicate things?

P.S. You don't even need to wait for the appeal to be denied, you can message them as soon as you get banned.

just head over to the punishment section in forums, search your name, and there will be a youtube video link to the recording of the SS session provided by the screensharer

Unless I admit to cheating or refused SS, it only then gets sent to youtube, even in that case sometimes, SS Verified aren't always allowed to send those videos that have Refusing or Admitting as some things are confidential or Private

Well, this isn't always the case, and why would you personally DM the SS manager, for the proof, when they can directly send it on the forums, It's more unnecessary work for them to respond, in that case, they would have to respond to Most of the SS appeals which would be a lengthy process, as it is they have a big responsibility. Personally, It's best that SS Managers, send the Proof directly on the forums and close the thread, for no confusion

SS managers and staff have more work to do other than chatting with members for Ban appeals, They have to be active in-game, in Discord and Forums, and in their real life as well, so It's really unnecessary to send them proof when they can just directly get it over with by sending proof on the forums

1. In 90% of the bans there is evidence for your ban reason
2. If there's not, then there is something confidential within the evidence, which is why it didn't got added to your ban proof.
3. In (some) cases you can see part evidence when appealing ss bans. It should or should not get changed depending on if it's fine to show it.

Thanks for explaining this. I understand that 90% of all bans have evidence provided, and in cases where evidence isn't given, it's due to confidentiality. I'd like to suggest, however, that perhaps having a policy where SS managers always provide some form of evidence, even partial or redacted, and an explanation for why the appeal was denied would really help in terms of transparency and fairness. This would allow players to have a clear view of what really went wrong and therefore have more trust in the process while some details necessarily remain confidential. Could this request be considered in order to improve the appeal process?

Because usually people who feel wronged get directed the the SS Manager, and that manager will provide a reason and evidence if possible. The "why" is simple, because it's part of their job, otherwise they wouldn't be SS Managers

there is evidence for every ss ban. Yes, they won't show you the evidence but it is existing. Usually, they provide a text where it says why your appeal got denied.

Yeah well, I'm pretty sure a player would like to know why they got banned, and for what reason, with evidence, If It's not confidential I really think there should be an evidence posted for the player to se

Part of their job is to mainly take the SS Verified's test, and make sure to take SS appeals, nothing more than that, moreover not all SS Managers will accept Dm's from Randoms

then you should ask for that in your appeal or in a ss manager dms on discord.
Adding proof to your ban would be hilarious + kind of forbidden in most cases due to leaking / doxxing.

In general, they should tell you why you got banned in your appeal, without a proof

If you are doing something, you know you are doing it, you know what you've done. Now if you are don't... it gets ugly and there is no change for that rather than work with the SS Manager to write an accurate appeal

To the both of us, we don't 100% know the full extend of their responsibilities, I only disclosed the fact you are replying to due to it being confirmed to me by an SS Manager
