Event EVENT: Staff Hunt!

Hello everyone!

This upcoming Saturday (9 November 2024), we will be hosting a Staff Hunt event at 4 pm GMT.
You will be able to use the /event command to join the server a few minutes before the event starts.
The player limit is set at 125 players; if you join late, you will not be able to participate.
Important Note: You will still be able to participate in the event even if you disconnect.

Important Information

There will be a total of 18-20 staff that will be playing in the event. Your goal is to try to kill as many as you can.
You will obtain points by damaging and killing staff members, and different ranks will give different amount of points: the higher rank, the more points!
Be careful: higher ranked staff will also have more health and better gear than lower ranked staff!
Players start with unenchanted diamond armor and sword, along with food.
You can mine gold ore to gain gold currency in the event*, which you can buy more items and upgrade your armor with!
Upgrades are NOT lost on death.
They will also be given a compass which can track the nearest staff member with a cooldown of 30 seconds.

There will be 3 winners in total. The 3 players with the most points after 1 hour will receive prizes.

The prizes will be as follows:
First place: €50 PikaNetwork gift card
Second place: €35 PikaNetwork gift card
Third place: €20 PikaNetwork gift card

The winners will be screenshared once the event ends.
If you do not comply, you will be disqualified and the next player who finished will be moved forwards.
Due to this, we advise the top 5-6 players to stay in the case that the first 3 players are disqualified.

*You will not be given store gold; this currency is only for the event.

Rules

Keep in mind that all global PikaNetwork rules still apply.
If you are caught cheating or using any illegal modifications, you will be disqualified and banned based on server rules.

By the way, you can not join the event with the 1.21 version of Minecraft, so please don't use it. Use any version except 1.21.1/2, etc., and 1.8 is recommended.
Also @aeserior be careful!
