Event Calendar
Detailed description:
I think it would be good to add an interactive event calendar right there on the PikaNetwork forums. That way users stay in the loop about server stuff like gamemode resets or community events and giveaways. It could be its own section, super easy to find from the main navigation menu. You know, with a monthly layout where dates are clickable. Each event would have all the details listed out, like what kind it is, the exact date, and any specifics + users could get notifications, either by email or just in the forum. The calendar might even connect to profile posts, so people can share their hype about upcoming things. It builds on that community feel we already see in recent profile activity. Admins would handle it all, posting the official announcements.
Reason(s):
Right now, the forums do not have one spot to keep track of server events. That leaves players missing out on big dates, like when gamemodes reset or giveaways happen. The thing is, an event calendar could make things smoother for communication. It would let users plan their playtime around those key moments. No more digging through a bunch of threads to find out whats going on. Also, it would get people checking the forum more often. They would have a real reason to drop by regularly. And that fits right in with how active the profile posts are from users.
Example(s):
By clicking on the calendar option, we can see the monthly events like resets, events, or giveaways. For example, October is going on right now, so with the help of a calendar, we can navigate what event(s) will take place in this month. For example, if 3 game modes are gonna reset this month, then on which specific date each one is gonna reset? If there's any event, then on which date it's gonna happen, all this can be scheduled into the calendar so that it would be easy for the community to know better.
