enchant my pic with jackhammer gem

i want to enchant my pic with the jackhammer enchantment but i already have the gem of jack hammer 4.5% now i have an 8% one how do i apply this with it?

so i have pickaxe with the jackhammer gem 4.5% now i got a new jackhammer gem which is 8% how do i add them together

there is levels for your pickaxe which level will make you able to add a new gem like you can check the ender eye top right and it will tell you how many gems are you able to put but try taking the another gem and left click it on the pickaxe and if your pickaxe's level is high enough it will apply [depends on the chance of it getting applied]
