Previously I had an issue with the reporting system which i got over and now I am annoyed again. In practice, after correcting some guy for giving wrong information to a seemingly new player, I was insulted and called stupid. Now some other kid screenshotted only the part where I said something and I got banned for a full week. If I ask what do to in this scenario, they said appeal to the ban. I got rejected and the reason "you did so deal with it." I doubt they even read through it for context.

Your punishment is valid as you broke a server rule. I know it is frustrating when you get in an argument with someone, but you must follow the rules which you failed to do in this case. Since your appeal has been rejected the only thing you can do is wait.

You could have reported him but I think you did not or maybe he didn't break any rules.
