OP Lifesteal Disable Elytra in Combat

Disable Elytra in Combat​

Detailed description:

• With the new mace, players can fly up with elytra and drop down to one-tap someone instantly.
• This also breaks armor worth 100–200 gold in a single hit, which feels really unfair.
• PvP should be about skill, but this combo just lets people abuse mechanics instead of fighting properly.
• It also makes players not want to grind or buy gear since it can be destroyed so easily.

Reason(s):

Elytra in combat should be disabled because the mace + elytra combo is way too overpowered. Players can just fly high up and drop down to one-tap someone, or break a full set of armor worth 100–200 gold in just 1–2 hits. That makes fights really unfair, since PvP should be about skill and not about abusing one mechanic. Disabling elytra during combat would make battles more fair, balanced, and actually fun for everyone instead of players losing expensive gear instantly.​

I am going to downvote your suggestion for the following reason(s):

• If a set of armour worth 200 gold is obtained by a mace worth about 1900 gold, it seems pretty fair to me.. After all a mace isn't free and all a person wants is profit. Removing elytra would rather be unfair.
• The clip you have reposted is NOT possible to be done by everyone. Only a bare percentage of players know how to do a part of it THAT fast.

This is a great idea removing elytra will make the pvp experience more fun not only because of mace
but it makes fight longer and boring people just run away when they are low
This was 1se implemented in ssn3 which had one of the best fighting experience

Note that mace is not meant to be used with elytra its used with windcharge also flying 600blocks and landing a single hit that kills the player and brakes armour isnt hard
