OP Lifesteal Disable elytra in combat for one season

Disabling elytra in combat

Detailed description:
ik this will get denied but worth a try

In OPLS, players can currently just fly away with elytra during PvP fights . when they are low on health. This leads in long never ending chases . I suggest disabling the ability to fly with elytra while a player is in combat so that elytra cannot be abused.


After OPLS is made 1.21.10+ spear is added

which gives players alot of tools to use to escape from warzone such as using lunge spear to escape , using pearls , tridents to escape through rivers .


currently fights can last around 1-2hrs without any drops it just waste resources and money

there is no way one can actually qd a ssnl set player who will run when low on dura or health even with good armor or skill

Reason(s):
  • Prevents players from escaping fights by flying away when low on HP or when they fell they losing.
  • Encourages more dynamic PvP tools such as using pearls, tridents, spears to escape.
  • Makes fights more skill-based and make the fights less longer because players will not be able to just run away when hp low.

    As in Season 3 of opls, elytra was disabled in combat, and players instead used ender pearls and tridents to escape fights , which made PvP more engaging and fun.

OPLS needs a change elytra can be disabled for 1 season which will make pvp more fresh
players right now just abuse elytra too much

As much as it is true that players run away and it is annoying but staff cant just turn whole pvp arena into FPS arena if you really want to fight till death just go into the FPS arena and even with the current methods of running away its not that useful pearls has a big cooldown so it cant be used for escaping and about lunge so the chaser will have that too and at the end its just that it wont be implemented as FPS arena already exists

fps arena fights can turn into ganks
+ there is still windcharge to clearly escape fight in warp fps
and warzone is big enough if they have the skill they can just escape combat and use elytra which one cant do in warp fps
pearl cooldown isnt that big

there is actually no point of pvping rn opls is a pvp based gamemode. sad reality - you guys should go survival if dont like pvping or dont have the skill .

legit wasting 30mins on fighting 1 guy who wont even pop a totem they will just run exp comeback is not worth it
