Developer Choose to Ignore Their Mistake

I made a bug report about the mace problem. The custom item copper mace is actually an axe under the texture pack. But I just got a reply of deny saying it being invalid. This is so frustrating. You, the server, made this mistake; why do we, the players, have to take the consequences?
