So as of now you stay in combat even if you have killed the player who put you in combat which doesn't quite make any sense so the combat should end the moment other player dies. And yea if its a situation where multiple people are fighting then this wont really apply cause you would be hit by someone else.

It should happen because staying in combat even after killing someone doesn't quite make any sense so the combat should end if the player dies and it also helps when you want to access your player vault to re-gear after fight so you dont have to wait for the combat to end.
