sorry but the way you presented the suggestion was badly structured that may get denied for that
(there’s no clear title or explanation, so it’s hard for others to understand what the actual request even is.)

However, the idea itself is actually pretty good, and I’d like to explain it better for anyone who didn’t get it

Right now on the forum (whether in posts, comments, or signatures) we can only type normal text and style it with the built-in tools, things like color, bold, italic, font size, font family, inserting images, links, tables, etc. But we don’t have full control over what we write.

On platforms like WordPress, Blogger, or other blogging websites, you can switch between a visual editor and an HTML/CSS/JavaScript editor. That means you can publish content that uses real code and it will be displayed as decorated content. That’s basically what this suggestion is about.

If the forum allowed an HTML view, users could type code directly instead of being limited to BBCode or the basic editor. This would give huge flexibility, especially for things like: advanced CSS decoration (like better coloring), custom layouts, animated elements, buttons, small web games or widgets ... etc

So the idea would open up a lot of creative options but the suggestion really needs to be presented much more clearly to be considered.

Honestly, after years of using BBCode I’m totally fine with it. That said, I know tons of people find it confusing and struggle to format things nicely.
A proper visual ↔ HTML source toggle would be a nice QoL update and very welcomed, but I doubt it’s high on priority right now.
