can't enchant fly

Sup pika community, i recently bought an op Fortune pick and when i tried to enchant it with fly it tells me "you cannot enchant the item you're holding" any idea why and how can i fix it? Or if it's a bug?

This is not a bug, but a feature implemented on purpose (I have absolutely no idea why, I find this annoying too). You can't enchant fly on any tools with the "Unbreaking" enchant already on it. Hope I helped.

Once you enchant fly on your pick, you can now enchant unbreaking using a book (i havent tried with tokens). Plus I suggest you also enchant efficiency on your pick because there was a bug before that sold pickaxes to shop. These are the pickaxe that only has fly enchant. Im not sure if it's fixed yet, but its better to be sure than be sorry.

I guess it depends on its function. i just use mine for flying and mining spawners and building so I added silk. I use a diff pick for warp mine. xD
