Better reporting system​

Detailed description:

Having to report people on forums is just overcomplicated. I'm not saying it's complicated to report 1 person, i'm saying it's impossible to do when there's cheaters almost every single game.
there's way too many hackers and way too little people that will record and report all the hackers
now this is just an idea, but maybe you could add an ingame report system where you could report someone and they'd be added to a watchlist or something.
players could also get permanently banned for abusing that system or something.
The staff would then be able to open a gui where all people on a watchlist would be logged, staff could then join their game and spectate them or something else...
Of course you would have to warn players not to use the system unless they're absolutely positive that the other person is cheating.​

Reason(s):

- More cheaters would get reported
- People who can't record would be able to report people
- It might be easier for staff members to go through there​

-1.My opinion is just that the pika player report is easy to use. If you just follow the steps 1 by 1 and use a recording software like OBS or lightshot its easy to add proof. But when you report a player ingame the staffmembers want valid proof to punish the player. Like PlayerA is fly hacking in practice, you can try /report PlayerA fly, And when the player isnt hacking anymore after the report they can't just punish him for a single player report. They want valid proof of him hacking. This way you get less false punishments and less abuse in the game. Players do faster /report, but the best way is to record it and report it to the forums so they got valid proof to punish the player.

that is why i have hotkey on OBS studio, you can easy start/stop the recording the only issue here is you need to rewatch the video's to know what player you want to report if you report more players. +1. As a player, it is not your responsibility to have obs open. Don't ruin your experience further by experiencing frame drops. Yes, I would open it after and try and spec them. /report doesnt do anything at all in practice. A more practical fix would be a way to upload a video directly to the forums, so you don't have to edit/render and then take 30 minutes out of your day to upload to yt.

The issue here is 1/2 the people wont have the video software and then if they do like you said it takes a long time to edit and upload the footage and ideally you'd rather be playing then playing around with a video and by the time you've uploaded it the hacker couldve played 2 or 3 more games and ruined it.

If it's possible to have this then I agree . I know Pika use to have it but I'm not sure why not anymore

Ingame reporting and watching by staff will NEVER work because of the main reason that you indicate: there is just to many hackers. If you think this out as an actual process, you will see that the way you suggest it will lead to LESS bans and MORE work in stead of the opposite. I'm not going to write it out here in full, cause that would require more space then available and probably is beyond your understanding of process-flow and -management.

The current report system works fine for this server. I do not mean to say that things cannot be improved, but an in-game report system is not a replacement for the current system.

What WOULD be a good thing to add is "a grey list". People to be watched.
What WOULD be a good thing that MORE players actually take the opportunity to report people. IT really is not THAT much work.

But my experience is that a lot of people actually rather fight hackers because it's a kick to beat them than report them. And THAT is exactly what you should not do. But i think i said that like 100 times already.

you should get your caps lock fixed, also you shouldn't need to have "bandicam" open and know how to edit and upload that to youtube and then report a hacker every 30 minutes.

2) The staff needs evidence. Just report it in the forums section.
3) This suggestion will 100% get denied, you are just giving more work to the staff than usual.
4) It is not like you must report someone immediately right after recording the evidence. You can literally upload multiple recordings at once. Btw, it won't even take 30 minutes to upload a video.
5) Delete your topic already. Hackers have VPNs and you can't really do anything about it.

Honestly, stop being clumsy. You are just denying facts without a valid reason.
1) The staff doesn't waste their time spectating. They want you to record videos.
2) If it's not your responsibility to report someone, What is the purpose of this topic?
4) you said it will take you 30 minutes, hear let me tell you something, just quit the game and relax. You can't do anything about the hackers anyways
