Hello dear Pika-Network Developer team, I want to talk about knockback in Bedwars.

I am playing on Pika-Network since 2019 and I enjoyed every moment I've spent there, but there is a little problem.
After talking to multiple people, adding people from other server to Pika-Network, every single person above average player were complaining about knockback on the server.

Lot of people have been complaining how Knockback isn't consistent in combos. After getting few hits on an enemy he would just fly out of the combo, resulting you sometimes losing a fight.
It seems like developers aren't capable to develop Bedwars knockback, and it's main of the reason why some people don't like to play on Pika-Netowork.

I don't want to degrade anyone with this thread, and I am familiar that Pika-Network already have huge Bedwars community, but this would really change opinion of the most people who aren't playing on Pika-Network just because they think knockback isn't really good to hold combo.
With this all being said, people would take much less knockback with holding W key, then people who W-tap.



I am open to hear other opinions about this suggestion (why do you think it would be better knockback to be fixed and why not).

+1 If pika improves their kb i am sure it will get a huge amount of players.

finally a know guy talking about this shit!
its annoying asf also im(150ms player) mostly get hit reg and low ping players get 0kb, and sometimes the hits doesn't feel real.
i hope devs fix this problem asap cuz its unplayable for high ping players (not talking about 200 - 300ms dog shit wifi players im talking about 100-150 ms players)

most people just have a huge ping that makes them not taking kb flawlessly and gets registered later when other hits already registered in your POV.
this is basically why these people fly out when you wanna try to start a combo. its not pikas fault and i would rather say that the vertical/upwards knockback is set too high for the most over-average guys are used to ( like minemen or vanilla knockback )
this knockback is kinda the same as the knockback on french servers
in my opinion its just another experience of knockback you have here
they should rather fix these hitreg bugs owo

+1, I especially agree with the flying out of the combo part, and then you get one tapped into the void. Pika needs to improve the knockback and many more aspects, such as ghost blocks and hit reg. It would be great if this issue could be resolved. Looking forward to this suggestion!

it is possible just extremely hard like ur movement must be on point and u need to guess where your opponent is getting send to the thing is, their knockback problem is more abt the less kb on ppl on higher ping, they almost get no kb and they can just hit you even tho u have blocktrapped them and u got ur first hit. u need to just s tap the first 1-2 hits after you got ur first hit to combo the opponent

I agree, after joining Pika I had to develop the habit of jumping mid combos to deal more damage because holding one is undoable, after 3 hits they fly 80% of the times, which is annoying.
It did help me try to improve in other aspects of the game since I couldnt rely on the pvp because of the kb, therefore I generally dont complain about it too much. But if it could be fixed, it would be so much better

the kb isnt really consistant, i only played for like 1 ish year but the server kb just goes randomly, sometime they take a lot of knockback and sometime not even a single knockback.

i vouch for this, i think like u should actually make this as a suggestion here and ill go +1 it, its really annoying when like the combo gets ruined cuz of the much kb.
I lowkey play bw at hypixel beacuse its more fun beacuse pika kinda rly sucks with the bugs and more, and the kb thing is a problem so i want this to be fixed.
I feel developers can make a thing that makes less knockback, kb in some maps is really useless (close maps ) so if they lower it would be better, ogizy u shld make a suggestion ab this so maybe it can be looked into.

I vouch with all that as been said, it seems like impossible to hold combos on pika because the kb is really special and random. Jump reset is not working and w-tap is less efficient than just pressing w. I don't know if developers can do that but just copy the kb of an server known for his kb like minemen or hypixel or even cimpiu server kb.

they should just copy jartex's knockback

with this knockback, its sooooo impossible to hold someone in combo, and its coded so it gives a reach advantage to high ping players
