so i got banned for "discrimination" cuz i said "this n💤ga afk" to my friend in party chat 💀
it wasn’t even in public and no one in the party had an issue with it. we always joke like that and we all cool.

the guy i said it to (chg_mahesh) didn’t report anything. he was afk anyway — it was just my way of saying “yo u afk bro”.

funny thing is i was recording the match when i got banned. i know exactly where and what i typed.
but pika staff don't care. they think it’s all black & white. if u not ranked or not on their good list, you're just banned. no questions.

they said i typed it in public — but i was literally THERE. i typed in party chat and have the CLIP to prove it.

this ain’t even about rules anymore. it’s just lazy staff who don’t check logs or context. they just ban and move on.

if you’re planning to play here — just know this:
once you step in, you're already guilty unless you got connections.
no fairness, no logic, just power flex.

sad how pika turned from fun to just pure control.

What do y’all think? Is this fair? Vote & share your story.

This is not just an unfair ban — it’s a direct example of systemic failure in PikaNetwork’s moderation process.

Let’s lay the facts out clearly:

  • A player was banned for "discrimination."
  • The statement was made in party chat, not public chat.
  • It was between friends who regularly joke like this — including the person it was directed at, who did not report it and has no issue with what was said.
  • The ban came after someone else used /report, likely from outside the party.
  • The player has a recording proving that the message was sent privately, in a closed group setting, and not in public.
Despite all this, staff proceeded with a ban — without reviewing the context, without investigating intent, and without acknowledging the evidence.

This is a disturbing and serious failure of responsible moderation.

Why This Matters

PikaNetwork, like any large server, has to protect players from real abuse. No one is questioning that.

But in this case, there was:

  • No harm,
  • No offense taken,
  • No rule broken in spirit,
  • And no due process followed.
When bans are issued purely based on surface-level keyword detection triggered by a third-party report, and when staff refuse to consider context or evidence, that’s not enforcement — that’s negligence.

You cannot run a community fairly by acting first and investigating never.

Staff Responsibility vs. Power Misuse

Moderators are not just rule enforcers. They are trustees of community well-being. Their job is to use judgment, not just rules.

In this case, staff:

  • Acted on a report without verifying the source of the message,
  • Ignored the fact that party chat is a private space,
  • Overlooked the fact that no one involved felt offended or hurt,
  • Disregarded the player's right to appeal with evidence,
  • And ultimately, enforced punishment where no wrongdoing occurred.
This goes far beyond a simple misunderstanding. It’s a failure in protocol and a lack of accountability by the people entrusted with power.

The Bigger Problem

This situation highlights a larger issue that many players are now noticing:

  • Bans are being handed out without real investigations.
  • Context doesn’t seem to matter.
  • Players who aren’t ranked or well-known are treated with less care.
  • Staff treat "rules" like absolute law, with no room for reason.
If party chat isn’t even safe — a space specifically meant for friends to joke privately — then what is?

And if staff cannot take even a few minutes to review logs or watch a clip proving innocence, then it’s not a rules problem — it’s a culture problem within the moderation team.

Where This Leads

This kind of behavior doesn’t just affect one player. It sends a message to the entire community:

"You are guilty until proven lucky. And even if you’re innocent, don’t expect us to care."
That’s a toxic precedent for any server, especially one that prides itself on being community-driven.

Call to Action

To the PikaNetwork staff: If you care about fairness, transparency, and the integrity of your own rules, then cases like this need to be addressed — properly. This means:

  • Reviewing logs thoroughly,
  • Respecting context and intent,
  • Acknowledging valid evidence,
  • And reversing bans when they’re clearly unjustified.
To the players: Continue to hold staff accountable. Don’t accept power without responsibility. A community is only healthy when everyone — staff and players alike — is subject to the same standards of fairness.

yo fr bro you're the only one who actually gets it
it was just me and my boys in party chat, we always joke like that, no one took it serious
but staff saw one word and went full ban mode without checking anything
what you said hits hard, respect for actually thinking before judging
