automatic map rotation more frequently
Detailed description:
--------- THE MAIN IDEA----------- ~(this is the part I care about)
Well I don't really know if it's already automatic or not, problem is the same maps stay for too long which gets kinda boring.
In my opinion there should be a bigger list of maps, which takes a few, each month or something like this.
And, it should be automatic if it isn't already, with a list of already tested maps.
As an example: look how rotational items works, it happens automatically and each week.
It makes sense that some of the maps will not be good at first but you can probably easily switch the files with something else if something is really bad? at least I hope it's easy to handle and I'm not asking for something big here.
-------- EXTRA RELATED IDEAS -------- ~(that I don't really expect to happen but just tell to try)
Another nice thing is to have like a wiki of all the lengths of blocks between each island in each map (just for maps within the current rotation) so it's easier to know what you're doing.
This could be done in the game itself by having an item in the lobby of bedwars which shows the maps and lengths of them, or simply add a link like the vote links.
A nice idea for new players: show on the middle of the screen when game starts or before it starts or at scoreboard or whatever, the first rush in the map (side rush, diagonal or diamond to rush).
Obviously, it doesn't force them to rush a specific island, just shows them the closest one.
Reason(s):
*All of these reasons are for the main idea, I don't really care about the extras, just thought they might be nice*
--------- FOR NEWER PLAYERS ---------
1. Imagine you're trying a new game, and you see the same maps over and over again. that's probably not something you would really like in a game, so changing it can make the game feel bigger and interesting for newer players.
2. Makes the game easier, since it forces experienced players to adapt to new maps, create more strategies/get more experience for more maps, meaning that there is more chance for new players to not suffer from a tryhard who already know exactly what to do when the game begins.
-------- FOR EXPERIENCED PLAYERS --------- (and in between kinda)
3. If you're experienced, you pretty much know what to do in each map. you start a game, you realize who is your biggest threat and you just know what to do and you probably know how much blocks to get etc. even if you only know it for like 2 maps, each time you play these maps your game will probably become a little braindead, doesn't matter if you lose or win.
so yeah rotate maps, add more variety please, yoy.
4. It's simply more fun to see new maps. yeah these are all the reasons I have
Example(s):
Just note that the extra ideas are not depended on the main idea, so if it would happen for some reason it's possible that only 1 of the extra ideas would happen?
thanks for reading
