Asking if this mod would be allowed

The mod xaero's world map is not a minimap. It just maps areas where you've been in one giant map and has waypoints. Unless you also install Xaero's minimap there is no entity radar. However it does have a cave map function that can let you see nearby caves but not specific ores or blocks or anything, just that there's a empty space in any one direction. Would this mod be allowed on survival?

Xaero's minimap is strictly prohibited to use. So I suggest not to install it, as it would lead to a ban.

It is recommended to use a mod that does not display any entities at all, rather than relying on one with a toggleable feature.

As already mentioned, mini maps with no entity radar is perfectly fine to use. I’m not entirely sure on this cave radar but I would say it’s probably fine to use as it’s kinda similar to the vanilla pie chart in f3.

A good rule of thumb is that if you’re unsure about a mod, just don’t use it.
