Suggestion:
Allow users to check who are the upvoters & downvoters on suggestions.

Detailed description:
Simply allow everyone being able to check who're all the upvoters & downvoters on a suggestion made on forums.
Currently, you can check how many votes your suggestion have. But, you're unable to check who upvoted/downvoted the suggestion unless someone passes a comment.

You may also consider making it send a notification upon each upvote/downvote. However, that's a non-priority.

Reason(s):
-> It'll reduce a lot of unnecessary traffic on suggestion from people just hitting in "-1 blah blah" or "+1 blah blah".
-> It's a pretty simple feature & doesn't effect too much yet is helpful.
-> It might end up preventing some people using their alts to upvote/downvote a specific suggestion.
-> There's no negative side to it. The only claim I can see coming is "
It may effect a user's privacy" which is totally not the case here. If you're up to show interest in helping the community via downvoting/upvoting a suggestion, I don't find any harm in it if the community gets to know who you are.
-> Other platforms such as discord etc where reactions are used to resemble votes on a suggestion does allow users to check who voted. Let forums be the same way

Thanks!

I don't think is such a great idea, people might be targeted/bullied for denying the suggestion or people would their vote to be hidden.

Tbh its a bad idea to disclose voters identity. If you have ever seen some voting systems voters indentity is always hidden.

Hello ZekromXD,

Thank you for your interest in creating a suggestion to improve the server. We are always doing our best to make the server a better place for everyone.
However, we have eventually decided to deny your suggestion due to the following reason(s):
  • Some groups (e.g. guilds or factions) may force their members to upvote/downvote certain suggestions. This is harder to enforce if we keep the votes anonymous.
  • We don't want people to get targeted due to expressing their opinion on a suggestion, which can happen if the person who suggested the idea is, for example, a well-known sniper.
  • Suggestions are meant to be voted anonymously so no external influence is present in general. We don't want to damage the legitimacy of the votes by making people able to persuade others into voting in their interest.
For your reference, here is a link to our suggestion guidelines → PikaNetwork Suggestion Guidelines.
Please make sure to read and understand them before suggesting again.

We also advise you to use our Thread Search Feature to look for (similar) already made suggestions and upvote them instead.
Have fun playing on PikaNetwork!
