Suggestion:
Addition of /rename in GenPvP
Detailed description:
I am suggesting the implementation of a /rename command specifically for GenPvP. This command would allow players to personalize their weapons, armour, and tools by giving them custom names, using standard Minecraft formatting and color codes (e.g., &c, &l).
To keep the game balanced, professional, and safe, the command should include the following parameters:
To keep the game balanced, professional, and safe, the command should include the following parameters:
- Access/Cost: This feature could be limited to players with the Mythic or Reaper rank to make it special.
- Lore Retention: Renaming an item should only change the item name at the top; it must not overwrite or wipe out the item's custom GenPvP lore descriptions. For example, if a Hype Wagon Helmet is renamed to "Aura Helmet", it must still work as the helmet of the set and should be able to achieve the full set abilities when used with all the other Hype Wagon pieces.
Reason(s):
- Enhanced Personalization: GenPvP is highly competitive. Allowing players to name their signature weapons adds a huge layer of personality and flex culture to the community.
- Economy/Rank Utility: If added as a rank perk, it gives players more incentive to buy ranks.
- Clarity in Storage: Players often carry multiple variations of the same weapon or gear set for different matchups. Being able to name a sword "KB3 Sword" or "S8 Sword" helps players easily organize their inventory and player vault.
Example(s):
- Command Usage: Holding a sword and typing /rename &c&lBlood&4&lBath changes the item name to BloodBath in bold red colors.
- Lore Preservation Example:
BloodBath
Sharpness VII
Unbreaking V
(All original GenPvP item description remain completely untouched below the custom item name)
