Adding Screenshare request section​

Detailed description:

Currently, to request a screen share, we have to contact the SS verified staff personally, and reporting it in the player report form isn't much help either. So, I'm suggesting creating a forum section/page for screen share requests on suspected players.
The SS verified staff can look onto those forums and conduct screen share on the suspects and either reject or accept based on the result of screen share.

Also, while creating a screenshare request forum section it will be good to open the screensharer position to everyone like Team Events so the entire screenshare load doesn't add up to few staffs.​

Reason(s):

It will be much more convenient for users and SS-verified staff to report and perform a screen share. since there are lot of closet cheaters on pika bedwars and practice and when reported them the report get rejected because the closet cheater doesn't look that blatant on videos evidence compared to normal hacking but alternatively when requesting an screen share request the closet cheaters can be detected and punished which will be better for server and players on the server.

Also a lot of times, when users contact the staff, they don't respond because they already have tons of DM from pika members related to various stuffs which make it hard for users to contact them several times This will resolve that problem entirely and will be helpful for staff and player both.​

I like the general idea, but I'm afraid it will likely not be used properly. I imagine people will report each other there out of pure hatred, and if they then end up being screenshared it's a high chance they aren't cheating, but maybe have one service turned off.

I would agree if there was a need to provide evidence in the screenshare request report, but then again if the evidence shows suspicious gameplay you can juat create a regular report.

I agree with the fact but I m saying report such as autoclicking. the video is sus but they just can't be punished in that case one can open screen share request.


Talking about my case, I was asked to contact SS Verified staff on discord after I reported someone on forums, which is kind of a hassle Instead in the first place, I could have created a screen share request, which is much more time saving for both staff and user. So the whole point to create a screenshare request section will be to report such user who are suspicious but just by video or something they can't be punished like autoclicking and stuff.

I mean I am referring to closet cheaters but yeah valid.

Closet cheaters can be reported in the normal report section aswell. If a report is not sufficient based on the evidence, then neither will a screenshare request.

I mean agreed but alternatively this can be also implemented by adding an simple option in existing report system if creating different one will be hassle.
Option: Do you believe this report needs an SS - yes/no, and probably describe the case

But it's up to the team to either accept or decline, and it's just my personal opinion that adding this will be helpful.

The idea is not bad, but then again if we see that the evidence in a report is insufficient for an immediate ban but suspicious, we still decide to move forward with a screenshare.

However, we have eventually decided to deny your suggestion due to the following reason(s):

• Like Surbate already said, we already have a process of handling these type of evidences if they're not sufficient for an immediate ban. Having a whole other forums section for it is not ideal and will be misused by the majority, so sticking to normal player reports is the more ideal solution.
