Event 7 days bedwars event

Suggestion:

7 days bedwars event​

Detailed description:

This event would take place over a period of 7 days, using the existing BedWars queues. Players would simply play normal BedWars games and their in game actions during this time would contribute to a special event points leaderboard.


Here’s the scoring system I’m thinking:

• Win = 10 points
• Final Kill = 3 points
• Bed Break = 3 points
• Normal Kill = 1 point
• Assist = 1 point

The top 3 plays could get iron/gold or a special cosmetic as a reward​

Reason(s):

1. It would bring some extra hype and competition to the queue
2. Temporary events naturally increase player engagement and bring back inactive players or even new ones.

I would like to see some bedwars event but there is a flow, if event is for only solo/duo mode it is fair but if it is for all modes then it point system seems unfair because in trios and quads it is easy to grind wins and players playing trios and quads will have an advantage & will be earning more points than players playing solo or duos, so I think the point system should be different for solo/duos & trios/quads.

I do not disagree with the idea, however, on how to execute it would be a huge problem. Without a doubt people will find ways to farm kills in order to get more points. Furthermore, there should be a match limits as to how many match one can play, or else highest amount of games played would easily translate into higher points.

Its right, make sense but, if server think of that their will never be a bedwars event....

Correct. So there has not been one since the launch of bedwars afaik. Having a bedwars tournament would be more manageable compared to this gamemode-wide event.

That can be easily fixed by not giving a task to a killing players camping, and changing to winning the game, so that way they can't camp.

That can be easily fixed by not giving a task to a killing players camping, and changing to winning the game, so that way they can't camp.

agree we can give points only for winning, getting final kills and breaking beds.
