What is SkyMines?​

SkyMines is a tycoon-like gamemode where you have to grind your way to the top.​

Your job is to mine resources found on the map to upgrade your gear. ​

The more resources you mine, the better your gear can become.​

​

In SkyMines you have the ability to PvP, in a 1.20 PvP combat style. ​

The players who just want to grind in peace have the option to enable passive mode, to not be disturbed while mining their own business.​

​

Most Islands grant you the safety from losing your items, even when you are PvPing, however the places that matter most will have everything except your pickaxe at risk.​

​

The following are the most important features that will be released in our brand-new SkyPvP gamemode.​

​

Explore the worlds! 3 worlds to grind in​

SkyMines has 3 worlds: The Overworld, Nether, and End. ​

Each world has many islands, and most islands have cubes with special ores you can mine. ​

​

In the middle of each world, there is an arena with an outpost you can fight for. ​

Be careful, PvP is enabled on most islands, but items only drop inside the arena. ​

​

Upgrade your loadout! Visit the Upgrader​

​

The game's main feature is the upgrader, where you can use ores to upgrade your pickaxe, armor and sword. ​

You will be able to upgrade them from their lowest forms (Wood and Leather) to their best forms (netherite) with high efficiency, protection, and sharpness for you to battle other players.​

​

How does it work?​

1. Interact with the NPC: Right-click the NPC to start the upgrading process.
   The system will automatically detect the items in your inventory.
2. Select Your Item: You can choose the item you want to upgrade from your inventory.
   If you have more than 14 items, additional pages will be available. The system also checks your second hand and armor slots.
3. View Upgrade Details: Once you select an item, an upgrade menu will appear.
   On the left, you'll see your current item, and on the right, the upgraded version.
4. Upgrade Cost: The price for the upgrade is shown below.
   You need to have these ores in your inventory to be able to upgrade the item.

Complete the Upgrade: Click the checkmark to upgrade your item if you have enough resources. ​

Convert your ores! Store more resources​

We have three converters! ​

These converters are a way to compress your ores into better and stronger ones, without taking up too much storage.​

Ore Converter​	Nether/End Converter​	Super Converter​
Convert your regular ores from the overworld into compressed ores.	Specifically designed for ores from the Nether and the End to compress ores from those worlds into compressed ones.	Take your compressed ores to the next level by converting them into compressed blocks.

These converters will streamline your resource management, making your gameplay more efficient and enjoyable. ​

You can use these ores for: ​

• Upgrading gear.
• Repairing gear.
• Enchanting gear and infusing gear with crystals.

​

Repairer! Repair your gear​

Visit Redstone Island to mine redstone, a valuable resource for repairing your gear.​

​

Repair Your Gear​

Use the redstone you mine to repair your gear, ensuring it stays in top condition even after intense battles.​

​

Unlock the Unbreakable Pickaxe​

Your pickaxe will now be unbreakable, allowing you to mine without worry and keep your tools in prime condition.​

​

​

Enchanter! Enchant your loadout​

SkyMines wouldn't be complete without enchantments, so visit the enchanter to enchant your pickaxe, gear and sword. ​

There are three different categories of enchantments you can purchase at the Enchanter.​

​

Unbreaking Enchantment​	Vanilla Enchantments​	Permanent Enchantment Upgrades​
Use Lapis to add the Unbreaking enchantment to your gear, increasing its durability and longevity.	Use Emeralds to add other default Minecraft enchantments to your gear.	These enchantments are permanent and will not disappear, even when you upgrade your gear further.	​

Crystal Effects! Give yourself a boost​

Visit the Crystal Effects NPC to give your loadout a boost, these crystal effects are purchased using Amethyst crystals. A rare material only found within the end.​

The crystal effects can be applied on your pickaxe, sword, armor, bow and elytra.​

Haste: Permanent effect for faster mining.	Strength: 10% chance to activate on the first hit, lasts for a few seconds depending on the level. Slowness: 10% chance to activate on the first hit, lasts for a few seconds depending on the level. Glowing: Activates every hit, lasts for 5 seconds.	Fire Resistance: Permanent effect. Night Vision: Permanent effect. Blindness: 10% chance to activate on the first hit, lasts for a few seconds depending on the level.	Resistance: 10% chance to activate on the first hit, lasts for a few seconds depending on the level. Wither: 10% chance to apply on the first hit, lasts for a few seconds depending on the level.

Jump Boost: Permanent effect. Weakness: 10% chance to apply on the first hit, lasts for a few seconds depending on the level.	Speed: Permanent effect. Nausea: 10% chance to apply on every hit, lasts for a few seconds depending on the level. Levitation: 10% chance to apply on every hit, lasts for a few seconds depending on the level.	Regeneration: 10% chance to activate on the first hit, lasts for a few seconds depending on the level.

Sword Skins! Fight in style​

In SkyMines, once you unlock these exclusive skins, you can apply them to any sword in your inventory. ​

Sword skins not only transform the appearance of your weapon, giving it a unique and stunning look, but they also provide an extra boost.​

​

These skins do not drop when you drop the items, they are bound to you as a player.​

The following 7 Sword Skins are available in SkyMines:​

Pickaxe Skins! Mine in style​

Just like Sword Skins, we also have Pickaxe Skins! ​

Once you unlock these special pickaxe skins, you can use them on any pickaxe in your inventory.​

Pickaxe skins change the look of your weapon, giving it a unique and cool appearance, and they also provide an extra boost.​

​

These skins do not drop when you drop the items, they are bound to you as a player.​

The following 5 Pickaxe Skins are available in SkyMines:​

Has a 0.02% chance to drop a massive fireball in the map which destroys all ores on the entire map - It also doubles all drops.	Doubles your drops. Armor Trims! Spice up your gear​

​

Not only will these trims make your gear look better than ever, they will also apply great boosts, based on the color of the trim you equipped.​

Unlock and apply trims to individual armor pieces for unique abilities and powerful boosts.​

​

Pier Piece Abilities​

Each trim provides a specific boost to the armor piece it is applied to. ​

This means you can mix and match different trims on your boots, leggings, chestplate, and helmet to maximize your benefits. Unlock trims individually for each armor piece.​

​

Stackable Boosts​

The boosts from different trims stack, giving you enhanced performance with each additional piece.​

​

Full Set Bonus​

Applying the same trim to all pieces of your armor grants you a special full set bonus, which stacks on top of the per piece boosts. This full set bonus provides an extra edge in combat and exploration.​

​

Detailed Information:​

Each item will display which piece it’s for (boots, leggings, chestplate, helmet), the boost it provides, its rarity, and the full set bonus.​

​
