    Its maybe because the game started with less players. You can see if it is actually a 4s game or 3s game by checking at the maximum player capacity on the sidebar. quadruple game = max 16 players ; triples = max 12 players

    Once I knocked an opponent into the water but he didn't die. So I went to the edge of the platform and shifted at him but he somehow knocked me into the water too. Then I lost and that guy won.

    If a player disconnects, they should be given a one minute time so that they can reconnect if they want to rather than making their beds disappear immediately (especially in solos). But giving the other player final kill, if they destroy the bed, is a bit overkill and I don't agree.

    I don't get stuck in carpets. Maybe that's because I play in 1.8.9. My friends play in 1.16.x and they always get stuck in carpets.
