If you haven't already, join the PikaNetwork discord server HERE.
Link your minecraft account to discord, and then your discord account to forums. Here is how to do so:





Execute /info in discord in #commands-1 or #commands-2. If you have a permanent rank in-game, you will receive the donator rank on discord and forums, after you have completed both the steps.

I've said this multiple times to people I know, and I'll say it again here.

If you're sad for a reason, that's probably the brightest kind of sadness you can have. because at least you know where it comes from. something happened, someone left, close people died, painful memories , insecurities grew and were carried for years, or life hit you in a certain way. deep inside you know those feelings are connected to something real and because of that you also know they can slowly fade with time, or you can work on yourself and develop the opposite of what made you feel that way in the first place. or start to take action on things you have control over (especially financially related issues)

some things take longer to heal from. but one day you reach that peaceful feeling where you stop fighting reality and start accepting life for what it is. and not as a tragedy or you being unlucky, but as part of being human and a big part of life as a system.

but being sad for no reason is different. (there's always a reason somewhere deep inside, even if you can't explain it. there's a reason but you don't know about it or didn't notice yet) that's the scary part. I know some friends who started thinking they're broken or crazy because they can't point at one specific thing causing the pain. and then they try to escape it however they can with distractions, isolating themselves from society, therapy that doesn't fit them, pills and pretending to be okay all the times with also listening to people who don't really understand them.

the worst thing you can do is let your mind drown in that feeling for too long. it doesn't matter why you're sad
if you keep feeding it every day, eventually it stops being sadness and starts becoming depression. y
your brain and your body will get used to darkness like it's a normal routine, and that slowly becomes the new personality you've unintentionally developed without knowing, waiting for something to happen sent from a greater power (or if you like to call it god or luck) just waiting for a mystery or a prize you expect it to release your bad feelings it will give you that faith temporarly, but if you keep waiting for too long you will get stuck there, and you will start ignoring and letting your dreams go with that patience. any goals you discover and want to make a change you will spend too much time thinking about it so you give yourself a delay waiting for the greater power to give you a fresh start.

and one more thing :
when you feel depressed, don't build your entire hope on one imaginary future, and do NOT convince yourself that you'll finally be happy only if you get this thing or become someone else.
a giant change usually doesn't completely heal you. a real healing happens slowly by changing small things over time and learning how to live with your mind instead of constantly trying to escape it.
