Level-Based PvP Protection System


Main Idea​


I’d like to suggest adding a level differentiation PvP protection system where high-level players deal reduced damage to low-level players. This keeps PvP enabled while preventing unfair fights.

The Problem​


Currently, new or low-level players are at a heavy disadvantage:


  • Weak gear and enchants
  • Low PvP experience
  • Low stats and survivability

As a result:


  • High-level players can farm them easily
  • New players die repeatedly right after joining
  • Many quit early due to frustration
  • PvP becomes one-sided instead of skill-based

This hurts player retention and makes the server feel unfriendly to beginners.

The Suggestion​


Introduce damage reduction based on level gap.


Example system:


  • Level 30+ attacking below 30 → 50% damage
  • Level 40+ attacking below 20 → 35% damage
  • Level 50+ attacking below 15 → 25% damage
  • Similar levels (±5) → Normal damage

Advanced scaling option:
Damage = Base Damage × (Victim Level ÷ Attacker Level)


This automatically balances large power gaps.

Tips / Anti-Abuse​


To prevent misuse:


  • Protection disables if low-level player uses high-tier gear or strong enchants
  • Only applies for first 5–10 hours of playtime OR until level 30
  • Disabled in duels, events like Outpost or KOTH

Expected Benefits​


  • New players survive longer
  • Less rage quitting
  • Fairer PvP
  • Less toxic kill farming
  • Stronger long-term player base

This keeps PvP competitive without removing it.



I'm asking people if this works or not. If it does, I'll suggest it to the server.

Don't ask players directly suggest even if you got 100 postive or negative votes it doesn't matter if devs want they will add it btw according to me there is a high chance that it would be denied.

As there is no downside to a suggestion getting denied, you might as well just make this one instead of asking first. If it's something you want to see implemented in the game, go ahead and ask away as an official suggestion, since that is the only way for it to be added.

I just realised this is really bad Idea because some players have just 0 level and have maxed out prot 6 gear like me so it would be so unfair people will just abuse it.

It is good only for new players but as PikaNetwork community is so...

So they will just use to get benifits.

The system won’t be abused if it’s not based on level only.
Server can check gear strength, enchants, kills and playtime.
If someone is low level but using high tier gear, protection should turn off automatically.
So only real new and weak players get benefit, not stacked players acting like beginners.

I was just thinking of ways to fix the beginner disadvantage, maybe some protection system for new players.
nah leave it , its a mess

Yea yea I know, but I just wanted players’ opinions first and to see if my idea had flaws (which it did) before making it an official suggestion

As,i said no need to ask just made suggestion let QuFox deny it beacuse then whats the motive to level up they just do p2w and get so many extra buffs.
