Changelog
The most important features/modifications implemented towards this season's map and functions are the following.

It’s time for a fresh chapter. Over the years, OpFactions has grown into a complex gamemode with countless features layered on top of each other. While some of these were fun, others ended up unused, overpowered, or confusing.
With this reset, we’re taking a big step back to refocus on what truly makes Factions fun — raiding, PvP, and a competitive economy.

Over time, OpFactions has turned into a big ball of features — half of them unused, the other half too overpowered.
This has made the gamemode confusing and less enjoyable for both new and veteran players. We want to streamline OpFactions once again, bringing it back to its roots.

This reset is all about rebuilding with the community.
We are stripping down many of the custom features and going back to the essentials: raiding, PvP, and economy.
From there, we will rebuild the gamemode together. At the end of every season, we will collect feedback, consider bringing back certain features, reworking others, or introducing new ones. This allows us to create a Factions server truly for the community, by the community.

To achieve this, we will be removing a lot of features, including:
- Bosses, Boss Tokens, and the Boss Shop
- Quests and Faction Shop
- Dungeons
- All special sets, weapons, masks, and pets
- Super Scrolls
This may sound like a big change, but it’s part of reshaping the gamemode.
The focus is now on the enchantments on the items, such as a higher protection on armor, or sharpness on axes and swords.

A new OpFactions season means a brand-new spawn to kick off the new season, and this season brings a fresh theme once again.

With a season of going back to the basics, we can't leave behind the warzone.
However, this time we’re taking a different approach than ever before on OpFactions.
The new warzone is inspired by KitMap and HCF, designed to deliver constant action:
- Sky buildings to climb and fight on
- Traps to outsmart and ambush opponents
- Saferooms to regroup and recover
- Overall, a much more fast-paced and action-packed PvP environment
This isn’t just a warzone — it’s a place built for chaos, strategy, and endless fights.

With the reset, the economy has been fully rebalanced to keep competition fair and progression smooth:
All mineral drop prices reduced by 70% (Diamond Blocks now sell for $2,700 instead of $9,000).
All spawner prices increased by 4x.
Raiding Outpost rebalanced to reward $70 Billion and 13 Million EXP every 30 minutes.
Sugar Cane sells for $6500 each.
Nether Stars sell for $50,000 each.
This new balance ensures a more challenging, rewarding, and long-term economy for all factions.

The recommended way to get started is now grinding endermites in the warzone, to get some starting money, get a base going to harvest sugarcane to upgrade your new harvester hoe, and when your Faction is ready for it dominate the Raiding Outpost for another burst of rewards.

A brand-new tool has arrived: the Essence Harvester Hoe. This hoe will be given from the starter kit.
This special hoe is your key to farming sugarcane in the new cane-based economy.

Upgrading it will be essential if you want to make serious money from cane farming.
The hoe comes with 3 different upgrades, each making it stronger and unlocking better rewards as you progress.
Earn Essence by harvesting Sugar Cane, right click the hoe to upgrade it.
The following 3 upgrades are added on this Harvester Hoe:

Introducing the new Faction Points system! A classic system making a return.
Your faction can now earn points by completing various tasks, with each point adding $15B to your faction's value, significantly boosting your strength. However, be careful—dying will cause your faction to lose 1 point. This new system offers a more engaging way to grind for Faction Top, as you can build and protect your points rather than just focusing on placing spawners.

Unlike the previous points system, these points get reset after every bi-weekly payout. Meaning that after each payout you can grind these points again, keeping them balanced throughout the whole season.
This means for the final payout you have 1 week to grind points as well to be counted for the final payout.
You can earn Faction Points by doing all sorts of tasks, and those tasks are the following:
![]() | ![]() | ![]() | ![]() |
---|---|---|---|
Winning a KOTH will give your Faction 50 Points | Opening a Supply Crate will give your Faction 1 Point | Winning the Stronghold will give your Faction 150 points. | Holding an outpost for 60 minutes will give your faction 5 points for every 60 minutes. |

Introducing Totems, powerful items you can place to grant buffs in a 32x32x32 area around them.
These totems are designed to boost your factions strength — or weaken your enemies:
- Spawner Totem – 10x multiplier for all spawner drops within faction claims (60 minutes).
- Strength Totem – Grants Strength 3 for 10 minutes to all team members nearby.
- Regeneration Totem – Grants Regeneration 5 for 10 minutes to all team members nearby.
- Resistance Totem – Grants Resistance 2 for 10 minutes to all team members nearby.
- Absorption Totem – Grants Absorption 2 for 10 minutes to all team members nearby.
- Weakness Totem – Applies Weakness 3 for 10 minutes to all non-team members nearby.
Totems bring a whole new layer of strategy — whether for farming, defending, or fighting.

Seasonal Crate has been reworked with a fresh reward structure, split into Common, Rare, and Legendary rewards.

A fan-favorite is back — instead of /warp fps, the classic Warp Soccer arena has returned!
This OG PvP arena is once again open for battles and can be accessed with:
- /warp pvp
- /warp fps
The nostalgic arena you’ve all been waiting for is back in business.

We’ve heard your concerns about the rules and how discouraging they can feel for new players.
Getting disqualified too easily — for example, over something small like a side claim extended by just 1 chunk — is frustrating and takes away from the fun of competing.
Faction staff will now aim to be more lenient with strikes and less strict on smaller mistakes. In addition, we’re looking into increasing the disqualification strike limit from 10 to 13, giving factions more breathing room to actually compete for FTOP instead of focusing on strike wars.
Full details of the updated rules will be shared soon.

With this reset, Daily Quests are now the only quests remaining.
As the name suggests, you can complete them every day for rewards — and these rewards have been rebalanced to fit the new economy.
Daily Quests remain a fun and consistent way to earn extra value while you play.

The loot tables for KOTH, Stronghold, and Warzone events have all been updated.
They now offer far better rewards that fit the new economy, making these events more rewarding than ever.
Some exclusive PvP items can only be obtained through these loot tables — adding a competitive edge for those who fight and win.
You can view the full updated loot tables ingame at the start of the new season.

Enchantments have been overhauled this season with new level caps and rebalanced kits:
Sharpness now goes up to level 15 from kits and the combiner.
Protection now goes up to level 15 from kits and the combiner.
The Seasonal Crate contains Sharpness 18 and Protection 18 gear.
Normal Enchant Books can be applied up to level 18(Sharpness & Protection).
- These books can be obtained from KOTH / Stronghold / Warzone Events
Mythical Enchant Books allow +2 levels above the max(up to level 20).
- These books can be obtained from KOTH / Stronghold / Warzone Events
Superior Enchant Books allow +5 levels above the max(up to level 23).
- These books can be obtained from KOTH / Stronghold / Warzone Events
Punch 3 is the maximum Punch level for this season.
All kits & classes have been rebalanced accordingly to fit the new enchantment system.

The Gold Auction House has become such a dominant part of the game that almost everything is being sold for a bit of gold, regardless of its actual value.

To address this, we’ve introduced a 5 gold free for listing items on the Gold Auction House.
This change is aimed at reducing low-value, unnecessary listings and encouraging players to use the gold auction house primarily for valuable, higher-priced items.
With this adjustment, we hope to restore a better balance in the economy, where money also plays a more important role alongside gold.

We’ve put in a lot of work to polish and fix as many bugs as possible on the OpFactions server.
We carefully reviewed all reported issues and successfully fixed them.
If you find any bugs with the new release, please report them in the bug reports section on our forums.

You can earn Gold by reporting bugs! We appreciate everyone who takes the time to report issues, so we’re giving back to you.
Each season, when all reported bugs are fixed, you’ll receive Gold in your virtual wallet, which you can redeem on our Discord with /wallet.
Report your bugs here: https://pika-network.net/forums/bug_reports/
