The most important features/modifications implemented towards this season's map and functions are the following.

New! FruitThey’re back, and better than ever! 
For our OG players, fruits will feel like a blast from the past, but this time with a fresh twist and deeper progression.
Here’s what you can expect:
Sell for Rewards – Earn Prestige Progress, Tokens, and EXP when selling your crops. Higher-tier fruits bring even greater rewards!
Unlock New Crops – Advance through rebirths to unlock better and more profitable fruits.
Gang Integration – Your gang can now benefit too! Upgrade your Gang Level to increase the crop limit inside your Gang Cell.

Introducing Pets, your brand-new companions that make progressing faster and more rewarding than ever! 
Each pet specializes in boosting a specific currency, giving you a permanent multiplier while it’s active.
The higher the tier of your pet, the stronger the boost it provides!
Here’s how it works:
Hatch Pets – Visit the Pet Egg in your mine to hatch new pets using Coins.
Prestige & Ascension Matter – The higher your Prestige and Ascension, the better pets you’ll hatch.
Merge Pets – Combine pets of the same tier to upgrade them into a more powerful tier.

Mine Rare Ores in the ArenaWhile fighting for dominance, you can now mine valuable ores that spawn throughout the PvP area:
Topaz – ~100 spots, regenerates every 2 minutes.
Ruby – ~50 spots, regenerates every 5 minutes.
Amethyst – ~35 spots, regenerates every 8 minutes.
Sapphire – ~20 spots, regenerates every 15 minutes.
Philosophy Stones – ~10 spots, regenerates every 30 minutes.

New! 1.8 PvP
We’ve heard your feedback and decided to take OpPrison back to its roots!
For this season, we’re bringing back the classic 1.8 PvP experience that so many of you loved.
Keep in mind that just is just to experiment, if it turns out that this wasn't the way to go we can always go back to modern PvP, but in order to attract more old school players to newer versions we feel like this season is a great opportunity.
A close mimic of 1.8 PvPWhile the server will continue running on 1.18+, the PvP mechanics have been adjusted to mimic an almost perfect version of 1.8 combat.
Here’s what’s changed:
Sword Blocking - Right-clicking with a sword will mimic the classic 1.8 sword block, bringing up a shield animation. Weaker Shields - Shields are no longer as effective and behave like 1.8 blocking.
Classic Knockback - Knockback has been reverted to match the 1.8 knockback mechanics.
Fishing Rod Damage - Fishing rods now deal damage to players, just like in 1.8.
Axe Damage - Axes no longer deal extra damage; they follow the 1.8 damage values. Netherite Armor Adjustment - Netherite armor no longer reduces knockback, matching the 1.8 feel.
Bow Boosting - Bow Boosting is now as it was during 1.8 PvP and should feel smoother again.
New! Once KitsThey’re finally back, one of the most requested features by the community!
Each rank now comes with its own powerful Once Kit, packed with valuable rewards to give you a head start for the season.
One-Time Claim Per SeasonYou can claim your rank’s Once Kit once every season, so use it wisely!
The higher your rank, the better your kit — filled with unique gear, items, and boosts to help you progress faster.
Updated! Pickaxe PerksWe’ve given the Perk System a well-deserved refresh to make it more accessible and easier to manage!
Reduced Slot Costs – Unlocking new perk slots now costs less, allowing you to experiment and customize your setup.
Revamped Menu – The perk interface has been redesigned for a cleaner, faster, and more intuitive experience.
Updated! Milestones
We’ve made big improvements to the Milestone System to make progression smoother and more rewarding than ever!
Reduced RequirementsAll block requirements have been cut by 50%, so you’ll reach milestones twice as fast.
Cheaper Pass UpgradesThe Milestone Pass price has also been reduced by 50%, making it easier to unlock premium rewards.
New! Milestone Reset TokensWant to relive the grind? Use a Milestone Reset Token to reset your progress and earn rewards again!

Updated! AbyssThe Abyss just got a whole lot more dangerous, and exciting!
You’ll now encounter hostile mobs roaming within the depths, ready to attack anyone who dares to enter.

Fixed! Bugs
We’ve put in a lot of work to polish and fix as many bugs as possible on the OpPrison server.
We carefully reviewed all reported issues and successfully fixed them.
If you find any bugs with the new release, please report them in the bug reports section on our forums.
Did you know about bug report rewards?You can earn Gold by reporting bugs! We appreciate everyone who takes the time to report issues, so we’re giving back to you.
Each season, when all reported bugs are fixed, you’ll receive Gold in your virtual wallet, which you can redeem on our Discord with /wallet.

Misc. Updates & Changes
Multiple small changes have been made, some of these small changes are the following:
- Added a new seasonal crate
- KOTH Loot has received a major overhaul.
- Cells are now accessible using the /cells command.
- You no longer need to type /gang cell.
- /cell = for your Gang Cell, /mine is now for your mine.
- Active boosters will now show in the boss bar with how much time they have left.
- Added a Gang Cosmetic to show off a banner on your head.
- The PvP Mine now scales with multipliers.
- Rebirthing now gives you more multipliers.
- Three new pickaxe enchantments have been added.
- They will be replacing Sheepsplosion, Blackhole & Airstrike
- ...and much more.
