It wasn't highly successful to me as I was lured and died many times losing Noble armor which was good I think at that time 😂😂🤣(PS of course I agree with it coming back)
I just want to add on my opinion to Hyper's suggestion about PvP:

A long time ago in an old survival map there was a PvP arena built for people to use. It was highly successful. Just used world guard allow PvP in that section of the map. It was a drop in style like Kit-PvP was. If you didn't want to participate in PvP you never went there. If you wanted to indulge in that, then you could. Simple as that. Giving the option in Survival was great. Anyone who wants to bring up the argument of 'what if people don't want to lose their items?' Well, there's a very simple answer to that. Don't bring anything to the PvP arena you wouldn't want to lose.

So this is a great suggestion from Hyper, in fact I agree with most of Hyper's post.

If anyone could state what the issues are with the current claiming system, instead of saying to remove it would be appreciated.

Greetings PikaCrafters,

Within this post, we would like to talk about the Survival gamemode on pika network.

We would like to give the community the opportunity to let us know what you would like to see within a reset, if there are any features that need to be added, if there is anything we should remove with a reset or you could help us by listing all the bugs that need to be fixed.

We already read through all the suggestions that have been currently placed on the suggestions page on the forums, and we would like to say we have already chosen a couple of ideas that for sure will be added!

If you're interested in helping with suggestions for changes and additions, can you use this thread to discuss anything with other people in our community that you think would be beneficial. But please be descriptive when giving feedback, saying the server is broken isn't helping us in any way.

So we are now taking all player feedback and suggestions for survival so that we can develop something that the community would like to see.

To start off will I ask some questions.

  • Vanilla generated biomes.
  • Update to a newer version of Minecraft?
  • A new shop system, where the server itself makes the economy.
  • Fix all current bugs
  • A new and updated claiming system
  • Improve the performance by a lot (This isn't that hard if you see the current setup)
  • Update all plugins in general.
  • ???
  • `Your suggestions here`

Please take this opportunity to let us know by replying to this message what changes you would like to see going forwards!
You can also let us know what you think of the current ideas we have and why we should add them or not.

I just remembered something I think would help the community a lot. Claims should be removed after 1 month instead of 10 days and also I think private signs should also be removed.

Thing with PVP though is that most of the time people wouldn't go in there with their BEST stuff , just good stuff so that they could practice PVP and have a decent fight. /warp pvp wasn't essential but I and many others got good use out of it.

I totally agree with this. To be honest this is how I felt as well lol.

Hm. So emerald economy would be great for version like 1.12 and the server will not be 1.12 for sure. So I was just going through YouTube and I saw that you can build emerald farms in 1.14 version. Basically turning Pillager outpost to emerald farm. I don't know if this actually work on not but if this works the economy will be ruined.

/ignore command should be available for everyone coz of spammers and flooders.

if the dupe didnt happen maybe i already touch at least 1B with hard working selling farm stuff ( but the dupe is more powerfull :ROFLMAO: so the money is useless )
Yeah true, I was surprised when players said "I'll pay you 20t" or something like that. I also wonder who's the first person to ever dupe money and spread it.

+1 to the /ignore command , I don't know why that is a special perm. If someone is harrasing you , you need to be able to use that command.
Also if that's true then I guess it'll have to be money but in a way better form then it is right now.

There should still be a server shop at spawn and I have made a list of items and prices below. I would love to see the shopkeepers plugin as it makes it feel more vanilla with real villagers but with custom trades. Allow players to make [vault] chests so they will still be able to buy items from the auction house and protect their emeralds. Also allow donators to make their own shops using the shopkeepers plugin instead of the chestshop plugin and increase the shop limit with each rank. Villagers look much better than signs and are easier to understand. If donators can make their own warps then they will be able to set up these shops for other players to use. Survival is not about money; players do not need to get millions of emeralds, everyone should trade with each other instead of buying everything from the server. The Prices are based on default villager trades and mainly only sell trades, this makes sure players gather their own resources or trade with other players.

That sounds pretty cool tho, would be nice to have that implemented but villagers should never have common things for sell tho, otherwise it kinda falls back to the /shop, but the prices you listed are pretty good.

As a "clan" we're limited with only 100 chunks of claims after which there's no way to expand on it. With the golden shovel at least, there wasn't such a limit and the claims you could get measured with the time you played on the server.
i think the shovel takes longer to claim, while the clan system is easier.

No no no the clans system is far from easier , the shovel thing is very simple place the shovel at two points too make your claim and then give people perms to build on your specific claim
Clans system means people can build on all of your claims , something which isn't ideal especially when you want to make shops for example.

nope you can remove their perms with /c perms so yeah i think what you said about clan system is false.

No you can remove their perms completly but my point is in say a shop , you may want to give someone access to only a certain part of the build and not another part , clans system doesn't allow you to do this . + Don't be inaccurate Ty :)

shop signs should be removed so yeah i don't see any reason about it :)
