Suggestion:
Discord Voice Chat Activity Rewards

Detailed description:
Introducing a Monthly Discord Voice Chat Activity Event For the upcoming month, where the top 3 users with the most VC activity time are rewarded with in-game Gold

Rewards:

🥇 #1 – 2,000 Gold
🥈 #2 – 1,000 Gold
🥉 #3 – 500 Gold

A leaderboard could be tracked through Discord activity statistics

Reason(s):
Currently, only a small number of people actively use voice channels. This event would encourage more members to join VCs, interact with each other, and build friendships within the community. It would also make the Discord server feel more active and welcoming for both new and existing players.

Additionally, rewarding active community members can increase engagement outside of Minecraft and help strengthen the overall network community.

Example(s):
At the end of the month, Developers will announce the top 3 VC users and distribute the rewards. This could be posted in an announcements channel along with the leaderboard rankings

That's a fair concern. However, staff could monitor participants' activity and ensure that only users who are genuinely engaging in voice chats are eligible for rewards. Users who are clearly AFK or using alt/bot accounts could simply be excluded from the event. The goal is to encourage real conversations and help members interact with each other more often, not just reward idle VC time.

Good counter for bot accounts and afk'ers but how exactly would they do that though?
I mean, staff can't listen to people on VC 24/7

That's true, Staff wouldn't need to monitor VCs 24/7. They can do occasional checks, and players can also report users who are AFK or abusing alts/bots. If a report is confirmed, the user could be disqualified from the event. Since community members are active at different times, it's much harder for people to abuse the system unnoticed
