Ban Evasion Punishment Adjustment​

Detailed description:

When a player’s first account receives a temporary ban, logging in with another account during that period is considered ban evasion and usually results in a permanent ban on the second account. I suggest that instead of giving a permanent ban, the second account should receive the same ban duration (or remaining time) as the first account.​

Reason(s):

The current punishment can sometimes be much harsher than the original ban. If the first account is only banned temporarily, a permanent ban on the second account may be disproportionate. Giving the same ban duration would still discourage ban evasion while keeping the punishment fair and consistent.​

Example(s):

For example, if a player gets banned for 7 days on their main account and they accidentally log in with another account, the second account can receive a permanent ban for ban evasion. This creates a very large difference between the two punishments — 7 days vs permanent ban, which can feel unfair. Instead, the second account should receive the same 7-day ban (or the remaining time) as the original ban​

if they are banned in their main account, they shouldn't be playing in an alternate account anyways

u can play with an alt and lots of people got perm ban for this if they login by mistake

you shouldn't be playing on alt when you're banned, because you're bypassing the ban in your main
that's why a permanent ban was given to stop the players from bypassing the ban

IF they are fine to have 7 days ban on alt, then why not wait for the unban in their main which is also 7 days?

the reason of permanent ban is to discourage the players not to bypass the ban from main, if they are going to receive the same duration (the ban) as main, it's pretty pointless

permanent ban on alt is to make them to wait for their main account to get unbanned

Even if you are ban evading, why would you play on alts. Also most people get banned on their main then use secondary accounts (which don't have any progress)

seems senseless thing if you are banned that means you are not allowed to play in the server till your ban expire and if you are banned and you playing so why you will get same punishment again.

we still don't get why you're supporting no permanent ban as first offence, you must not join from alternate account if you're banned and that's it...
if playing on alternate account result a ban, then why still doing it? just wait for your main to be unbanned

and sometime different players use same ip to play if they are connected to same router if one got ban then second will got permanent ban for no reason. however its very easy to just restart the router and get rid of it. but its not good to give perm ban as first offence for ban evasion

who uses same IP to play?
and lets have a situation that two siblings are playing in two diffrent PCs using same Wi-Fi first of all its so rare.
and i think that they can contact staff by fourms and discord and tell them before playing that dont ban me for ban evasion.

yah that's my point everyone dont know that they have to contact staff first. they realize after getting ban. so its good to make first offense as 3 month ban instead of permanent ban like they did for cheating

bruh..
i gave example but this is a 1 in 1000 situation like it rarely happens so no need to do it cz if anyone is 90 days ban for cheating they can simply make another account and play till they wont get banned there so i really dont think there is any need of this.
