Will Survival get an update?

Title says it all... Are there any plans to update and perhaps save survival? or is it too small to matter anymore and it will just be allowed to die?

In the old "glory days", there was no shop and I don't think the donor ranks gave so much free stuff. We didn't all run around with max enchant diamond armor... players ran player shops so if you wanted to buy something you interacted with other players... we had mob arena... an ongoing battle of epic proportions in a small town like arena... it was great.

Back then enchanting wasn't as easy as it is now, you would not know what you were going to get, and at max enchant you lost 30lvls not just 3.(I know that they changed the xp scaling a bit, but in my opinion not enof). In my opinion its only logical that they scaled up donator-item and vote-item enchants. Personally, I would like to see a donator only getting the armor of his own rank, and not the armor of all the ranks below him aswell.
