Suggestion:
Suggestion for some SS rules

Detailed description:
"Attempting to bypass screensharing".
In my opinion, some of the rules under Screensharing seem quite absurd, especially rules like: "Clearing the recycle bin" or "unplugging a usb / usb device after running Minecraft, these rules should have a lighter punishment than they are. Ex: 30 days rather than 90.

Reason(s):
People also use USBs/Recycle bin/windows power shell for other stuff than hacking/having illegal mods, like:
1-You got a usb to transfer files from your pc
2-You just deleted some garbage files from your pc and wanted to free up space.
3-You just unplugged your mouse because it's broken/needs a change in batteries.
All these 3 thing (and more) if done after starting Minecraft on your pc, can get you banned for NINETY DAYS, my point is, these things mentioned are:
1-Not real "evidence" that someone meant to bypass SS, or that they have any illegal mods/hacks running.
2-these can just be normal activities done any time by us without any intent on breaking rules in the server.
3-at least if you get banned for seemingly 'bypassing SS', you shouldn't get punished the same way as someone who is caught with illegal mods/hacks on their pc

The inclusion of these 'bypasses' under the rule seems justified. Clearing the recycle bin or unplugging the USB could hide your cheat so the rules make sense. People who attempt to bypass are trying to hide their cheats away, so why would we lower the punishment? If they're "normal activities" I am sure you can be doing them while you're not playing Minecraft.

But what if you're just afking while doing other stuff on my pc? Maybe transferring files or doing any of these stuff without the intent of hiding anything? What do you think?

Hello notax6uuu,

Thank you for your interest in creating a suggestion to improve the server. We are always doing our best to make the server a better place for everyone.
However, we have eventually decided to deny your suggestion due to the following reason(s):
  • All the bypass rules you stated are justified and are clear attempts to evade failing a screenshare.
  • For unplugging (generic) USB's, we don't punish unless you refuse to plug it back in.
  • We don't punish without evidence, screenshares are recorded.
For your reference, here is a link to our suggestion guidelines → PikaNetwork Suggestion Guidelines.
Please make sure to read and understand them before suggesting again.

We also advise you to use our Thread Search Feature to look for (similar) already made suggestions and upvote them instead.
Have fun playing on PikaNetwork!
