Strenght IV & Speed IV
Detailed description:
Back in the day, we had access to Strength IV and Speed IV buffs through /is upgrades, purchasable using IS shards. These upgrades made grinding, PvP, and overall island progression much more enjoyable and engaging. Unfortunately, these buffs have been removed in recent updates, and their absence has definitely been felt by many players.
Right now, getting Speed is frustrating:
Right now, getting Speed is frustrating:
- You can only get Speed I or II from E-Witches,
- A few special armor sets offer permanent Speed II, but they’re hard to obtain and not accessible to most players unless they invest a lot of time or money.
Reason(s):
This has made movement and combat feel slower and more restrictive, especially for newer or mid-tier players. The game feels less dynamic, and the grind less rewarding without these meaningful boosts.
Reason(s):
Reason(s):
- Reintroduces meaningful island progression that rewards long-term effort.
- Adds depth and variety to gameplay, especially for players who focus on PvP and grinding.
- Reduces reliance on RNG (like E-Witches) and rare armor sets for basic movement boosts.
- Makes gameplay more accessible to casual players who can't constantly grind or pay to win.
- Encourages shard collection and use, giving IS shards more value and purpose.
- Restores a feature many veteran players enjoyed, helping retain old players and improve community satisfaction.
Example(s):
- When Strength IV and Speed IV buffs were available through /is upgrades, players experienced much faster and more enjoyable gameplay. Farming mobs, exploring, and island PvP were significantly more dynamic and engaging.
- These upgrades provided a clear and rewarding progression path, motivating players to collect and spend IS shards strategically.
- The presence of these buffs meant that success relied more on player skill and planning rather than just rare gear or chance drops.
- Without these buffs, combat and movement feel noticeably slower and less exciting, especially since only a few special armor sets grant permanent Speed II—and those are difficult for most players to obtain.
- Temporary Speed boosts from E-Witches are inconsistent and don’t offer the same level of reliability or motivation that permanent island upgrades once did.
