SkyMines “Build Battle Event”
Detailed description:
Adding a new SkyMines event called “Build Battle”, designed for creative competition, strategy, and rewards. This event will let players showcase their building skills, explore teamwork, and earn exciting prizes.
Rewards & Evaluation:
Event Announcement & Preparation:
- Players will be informed 3 days before the event starts.
- During this period, they can collect materials, prepare tools, and plan their builds.
- This ensures everyone has a fair chance and encourages participation.
Event Mechanics:
- Event Portal:
- A portal spawns at SkyMines main spawn, or players can join via a command like /event buildbattle.
- Event Area & Plots:
- A large dedicated event area will be created with multiple plots.
- Each plot will be 14x14 blocks, with 6-block-wide paths separating them.
- Players are restricted to their own plot, preventing interference with others’ builds.
- Building Rules:
- Event lasts 5 hours.
- Players can build anything creative: houses, forts, PvP arenas, towers, statues, etc.
- After 5 hours, block placement will be disabled, locking all builds.
- Build Categories (Optional for Guidance):
- Defensive Fortresses
- Skyscrapers / Towers
- PvP Arenas / Kill Arenas
- Decorative Monuments
- Creative Theme Builds (e.g., Medieval, Futuristic)
Rewards & Evaluation:
- Builds are judged on creativity, design, and use of space.
- Rewards can include:
- Iron, Gift Coupons,, or Seasonal Keys
- Participation rewards for all players who built, and extra rewards for top builds.
Reason(s):
- Encourages creativity and strategy within SkyMines.
- Promotes community engagement and competition.
- Adds short-term fun while giving long-term rewards.
- Easy to implement: just a temporary plot area with build limits and prep rules.
Example(s):
- Flows naturally from announcement → preparation → rules → rewards → reason → examples.
- Includes your 3-day prep period.
- Staff can easily visualize the event and see that it’s fair, engaging, and organized.
