Hello ir_n,
Thank you for your interest in creating a suggestion for PikaNetwork. We are always doing our best to make the server a better place for everyone.
However, we have eventually decided to
deny your suggestion due to the following reason(s):
This is so we have the chance to appeal and justify the strike if it is possible.
We
always double check evidences before striking a faction. So most of the strikes given are
not false and if you try to appeal, it will most likely be
denied.
Proof is shown for pretty much every other punishment, so why not faction strikes.
Because
faction punishments are
not the same as
global punishments.
Showing proof will not make players think of loopholes if the Factions Staff team actually acknowledged what was happening in the evidence.
As I said above, we
always double check evidences before issuing a strike. All of us in the
Team Factions always give our opinions and
not only 1 staff member decides on what is punishable and what is not.
If the evidence is valid, there will be no loopholes so that excuse shouldn't be used.
Being in the
Team Factions for almost a year now, I rarely encountered a Faction that
doesn't find loopholes even if they know that
they broke a rule. Like the factions who are competing,
they always find loopholes even if the evidence we have is
100% clear and no doubt. A good
example is your
faction member.
- Will prevent false strikes
Again, we
double check evidences before punishing a faction.
- Will make the community more happier
They're always
happy when they see someone
break faction rules.
- Proof is shown for most other punishments, so why not Factions Strikes
Because
faction punishments are
not the same as
global punishments.
- Will make it easier for faction leaders to identify which member is breaking rules
As a
faction leader, it is your duty to know who you have invited to your faction and it is your duty to make sure that they
follow the rules or
the faction gets punished. Factions are all about
team work. If someone in the faction messes up, the entire faction gets punished.
- Makes no sense not to show proof
We
do not show pieces of
evidence that lead to the strike to players. This is to
avoid showing footage of things that
the recorder may not want to be shown and
to avoid searching for loopholes. On top of that, it's
unnecessary as we always double-check any evidence before issuing a strike.
and is not fair upon the faction
What do you call
"fair"? by
not striking factions
who breaks the rule? Is that fair? Absolutely
NOT.
