As season 5 stretches out for it's fifth month, we the players have a chance to reflect on this season and reccommend what improvements can improve the overall gameplay of the Pika-Network Lifesteal

Fix Auction Slots Voucher:

The Auction Slots Voucher has proven to be a valuable tool for players seeking to engage with the server's dynamic auction system. However, an immediate issue has come to light: players are not receiving the auction slots they rightfully deserve when claiming their vouchers. Rectifying this issue is crucial, as it has the potential to rekindle interest in the auction system, stimulate participation, and consequently, boost the server's economy.

Improve The Anticheat:

At the heart of any thriving multiplayer environment lies the concept of fair play. Pika Network's anticheat system serves as the guardian of this principle. Enhancing this system is imperative to ensure that all players enjoy a level playing field. Unfair advantages gained through exploits disrupt the harmony of the game, often leading to player frustration and dissatisfaction. Reinforcing the anticheat system sends a clear message that skill and strategy are the keys to success on our server.

Expand the Map:

As we have journeyed through Season 5, the once-mysterious landscapes may have grown a touch too familiar. To reignite the spark of adventure that originally drew us to this world, we propose expanding the map. A larger canvas offers fresh opportunities for exploration, grand construction projects, and resource gathering. Such an expansion breathes new life into our shared universe, offering an enticing playground for both seasoned players and newcomers alike while also increasing and reconstructing the economy.

Fix The Bear Pet:

A harmonious game balance is the linchpin of any competitive server, and one issue stands out glaringly in Season 5: the Bear Pet. This pet, as it currently functions, grants players an unfair advantage with unlimited health, effectively skewing the balance of power and undermining the strategic aspects of the game. Addressing this issue is paramount to restoring equilibrium, ensuring fair competition, and preserving the integrity of our server's ecosystem.

Adjust Crate Odds:

The anticipation of opening crates is a source of excitement and delight for many players. However, it is equally crucial that the odds of obtaining items from crates are both balanced and fair. A comprehensive review and fine-tuning of these odds can create a more gratifying and enjoyable experience for players who engage with crates, at this moment, there are about 10 knight ranks obtained from the epic crate key daily, this has sparked a giant downfall in the price of the ranks.

Reintroduce /Trade Command:

Trading stands as a foundational pillar of any thriving Minecraft economy, and we believe the time has come to reintroduce the /trade command. This command simplifies player-to-player item exchanges, enriches the server's community spirit, and contributes to the cultivation of a robust, player-driven economy.

Modify /Level Command:

In our pursuit of enhancing gameplay depth, we propose making slight adjustments to the /level command. By introducing a touch of added challenge, we can elevate the sense of accomplishment players experience as they progress through the ranks. Such modifications create a more meaningful and engaging progression system.

Fix the Server's Economy:

A stable in-game economy serves as the lifeblood of our server. We advocate for a thorough examination of any issues that may be undermining the server's economic stability, including the impact of the map's size. As we've journeyed through Season 5, it has become evident that the current map size may have inadvertently contributed to a drop in the economy. This examination might encompass resource availability adjustments, addressing concerns of inflation, and refining trade mechanisms. A thriving in-game economy benefits all, creating a vibrant marketplace that enriches the experiences of all players.

LIFESTEAL PETS
Pet #1: Gorilla Pet
The Gorilla Pet is a formidable companion, known for its brute strength and unwavering loyalty. When this pet is by your side, it bolsters your combat abilities, increasing your damage output by an impressive percentage (x%). With the Gorilla Pet at your side, you'll be a force to be reckoned with on the battlefield.
LIFESTEAL PETS

Pet #2: Zebra Pet

The Zebra Pet embodies resilience and grace. With its unique abilities, it can ignore any negative effects that may hinder you for the next x minutes. When you have the Zebra Pet as your companion, you can navigate dangerous situations with ease, as it shields you from the harm that would typically befall others.

Custom Potion Idea

Elytra Disabling Potion

The Elytra Disabling Potion is a powerful elixir designed to give players an edge in aerial combat. When splashed on a player, it temporarily removes their ability to use an elytra for x seconds. This strategic potion can be a game-changer in battles that take to the skies, allowing you to ground your opponents and assert dominance in the skies. One problem that has been constantly occuring in lifesteal: Runners, this potion will help us inflict damage on them or kill them before they run away.

Obtaining Strength 3, Swiftness 3, and Fire Resistance 3

To ensure that obtaining Strength 3, Swiftness 3, and Fire Resistance 3 is not solely based on luck but involves player effort and engagement, you can consider implementing special challenges or quests within the server. Here's an example of how you could structure it:

Strength 3 Potion Recipe:

  • Players must collect rare ingredients from mobs.
  • Once obtained, these ingredients can be combined in a specific brewing recipe to create the Strength 3 potion.
  • Completing a difficult quest may also grant access to the recipe.
  • By obtaining a certain skill level in the /skills for Brewing.
Swiftness 3 Potion Recipe:

  • Similar to Strength 3, players must embark on quests or encounters to obtain the necessary components for the Swiftness 3 potion.
  • These components could be hidden in locations, or found through specific in-game achievements.
  • By obtaining a certain skill level in the /skills for Brewing.
Fire Resistance 3 Potion Recipe:

  • To acquire the Fire Resistance 3 potion, players might need to explore the nether and gather resources only found there.
  • Nether-exclusive quests or challenges could lead players to discover the secrets of brewing this potent potion.
  • By obtaining a certain skill level in the /skills for Brewing
By implementing these methods, players will need to actively engage with the game, complete challenging tasks, and strategize to obtain these powerful potions, making their acquisition more rewarding and skill-based rather than solely relying on luck.

Fire Resistance III potions are useless, they do the exact same thing as fire resistance I

no. just no.
players control the economy inflation, new pets = stupid, and extra quests for pots makes it feel more like an RPG with pvp.
other than this i would prob give a +1
(ngl u prob use elytra during combat)

Players sometimes manipulate the economy to the point where thr prices get nerfed by ~100%+ , economy in season 2 had us selling gsets for 2m , Gsets now sell for around 400k, its not balanced between the seasons which results in a non stable economy, while I agree that players should control the economy, some are just manipulating it, there as some points for improvement, such as expanding the map and changing the crate odds since this will help build a more stable economy throughout the seasons.

Potions play a major role in PvP, RNG just ruins the fun because not everyone has the time to sit in front of the screen for 3 hours just to get strength 3 potions.Strength 3 and swiftness 3 give a major advantage in PvP and they are custom potions,It would make the players more engaged with the game if there are special ingredients you have to collect vanilla items to craft these potions just like how custom potions work.

PS: I got this information from interviewing players in lifesteal to come up with this conclusion and one suggestion I heard a lot is new pets so I just put it in there.
