Hello,

Lately, my ping is very high, I get around 60-90 ping. Can you tell me what the problem is. My internet connection is good and stable even when it is used by 3 people. Is there any other IP address with which I will have a ping lower than 40?

Thanks in advance.

60-90 ping isn’t even that high, but changing IPs won’t effect your ping.

Ping is based on things like the host location, your internet speed, and the server’s traffic. Ping is not dependent on what ip you use. There are proxy IPs but they won’t help your ping.

currently it's pika network's fault, your ping is still below 40 but pika displays it as 80 just like me, go see other servers and you'll notice that ur ping is stable. for referance my friend who gets 20ms is displayed as 140ms but he said he doesnt really feel the differance

hey Aleondron I Guess 60-90 is not that high tho and it will not ruin your gameplay , and like

Proxy ips helps a lot to me, there is a difference of 300-400 ms in ping when I change the IP.

ping is mainly influenced by routing, distance, and network congestion. Using a proxy IP can sometimes coincide with a better route, which may explain the drop you notice, but it’s usually the path the data takes rather than the IP itself that causes the change."

also for ur info all, 80ms is NOT helpful, maybe for you but not for people who want to place blocks
